I always try to remind myself by reading the modified quote from Emile Coue "Day by day by the grace of God I'm getting better and better in every way." I struggle with this because I hold myself to a high standard but give a lot of grace to others. Each day is another day for us to become better men and growing closer to God.
Greetings from New Zealand: it is so much easier to think and say negative things about ourselves, than it is to be positive . It is easier to live as a victim rather than as a Victor. That must change if we are to positively and productively influence the society we live in.
So.. a successful man, like in a wealthy man, means that you are living a good life? The only good life i can think of is a life with God by my side. More often than not i observe that the more wealth someone has, the stronger the Godlessness..
Thanks for this one, Ryan. I beat myself up for everything I fail to do or do poorly yet hardly ever give myself credit for what I do right. My narrative usually goes like: The things I do well are just "what I'm supposed to do as a man", but all of the ways I fall short are some flaw in me as a person.
We're all flawed, even the most successful people on the planet. What they realize is that they can be victorious in spite of their flaws. And, so can you!
@Orderofman I even look at Trump with all of his flaws, yet God first spared his life and is now working through him to set wrong things right! You're right man, you're right.

I actually said, "success, whatever metric you want to use for that." I used weath as ONE example on this podcast. I also talked about others.
