In the midst of so many terrifying events finding this video and watching it before bed was a soothing to my heart so full of fear, thank you for allowing me to dream of a place of peace.
My late wife & I had a mobile home at a site between Sanary sur Mer & Bandol, for some years before the site modernised & dispensed with older vehicles. We often walked the partial route that was offered here into Bandol. Looks like many changes since then relating to the pavement areas. There are barriers apparent now putting a stop to the many cars that would encroach the, sometimes, narrow pathways. No doubt the local authority benefit financially from this, but it is very thoughtful from the pedestrians point of view. The buses were Litterol cars when we were there & we had many an outing to places like The Gorge de Verdon, St Marie, & if we shot over to Nice for a few days, St Paul de Vence, Monaco, St Remo, all very lovely. We always went down by rail, various routs as the public transport down south is most reliable. Great days in a lovely area & environment.
