Literally the only tutorial on electrical signals showing how to do route release. Incredible. Everyone else just shows how to set a route and leaves it at that. Thank you. There's just an endless surge of videos of people going to Pilichowice, routing some trains through, and pretending like they made a tutorial.
20:13 you need to use dKo button before letting train enter via Sz then you can release the interlocking. The same way when letting a train exit on Sz (into working interlocking) you need to use dPo be for sending it.
Awesome tutorial! What you talked about at 17:44 i have sometimes problem at Kozlow going towards Sedzisow. Up to today I never pressed train departed and 90% of time block cleared by itself... but sometimes it didnt and all i could do is relog and let AI handle things :D but i'll try this trick with substitute signal, which I didnt know how to use up until today. Thanks alot! see you in game
From Kozłów to Sędziszów is a two way Type C interlocking. It has 3 Bars on Po one Poz one Ko. Poz is the basicly who is allowed to send trains if it’s white you can send if it’s red the other station can send. In this kind of interlocking you have to use the Po button after a train passed the exit signal towards that interlocking. Then Po Bar will turn red. If you don’t do this the other dispatcher can’t release the interlock once train is through and you need to send next one via substitute. Ko turns red once other dispatcher used his Po button. Ko block needs to be released by using Ko button after train arrived.
25:55 please never send trains on left track at Type C interlocking like they are in Juliusz (with only one white bar) these are one way interlockings. In this case the Ai gave permission over. But it is not possible to turn it back. This is then only fixable by server restart. IRL Dandówka is a mechanical interlocking which do not support left track driving thus one way interlocking. @Bee Sharp Sławkov is better example for left track operation as it has a complete Type C interlocking and not a dumbed down one.
03:37 I have one comment (sorry for the Google translator). The position marked with a plus does NOT mean that the switch is set for straight travel. Its (I don't know how to describe it in English) BASIC position is marked with PLUS. Indeed, it is often the case that this is the straight-ahead position, but this cannot be taken as a rule. Even in the above-mentioned Katowice, you can easily find examples where the switch arranged for straight driving has the MINUS marking (e.g. 82 and 84).
@@chudy.a I see. I assumed that plus equalled straight since that's what the game's user interface calls it. You always left click to switch to the plus position, and if I recall correctly that is always called "straight" by the game, while right click is to set diverging position. It's possible this is just a poor translation by the developers.
@@BeeSharp47 I checked the English version of the interface. You're right, it says "straight" position. In the Polish version it is "zasadnicza" (basic). The English manual also mentions "basic". This is an oversight (mistake) by the developers. What is important here is that "basic" does not always mean "straight".
There is an issue with sending trains on left track as you did in the video, the Pwl field will stay red and hinder trains entering at that track. It doesn't help pressing Po or dPo, only thing to do if you send trains on left track like that is to logout. That will reset the device. Sending trains on left track to Dorota is no problem.

Exactly why I wanted to do this; cover everything you need to know. Glad it helped!

A great video and will help me a lot more when dispatching.
Thanks for this tutorial.
It makes things a lot clearer.
Maybe you can do a livestream with a bigger station ?
Perhaps, been thinking of getting into streaming...

@@chudy.a This is excellent information, thank you very much! I've added this to the description.

Thanks for the heads up, I will put this in the description!
