I don't play genshin impact even my friend says that I must go outside at forest night if I don't like genshin impact so I did that
I quit Genshin a few weeks ago…and tbh I am doing great without it. Sure, it’s sad that I just quit all my hard work in the game but at the end of the day it’s just a game. I realised after many months of playing Genshin that it has really affected my studies, not the game itself but my addiction to it. And yeah, I’ve set MANY timers for some control of my screen time, but I was so addicted that the timer didn’t help… I’m kinda sad but my future irl matters more than my future in the game. This game has also affected many of my relationships like my relationships with my parents, I’d spend hours in my room and only came out when it was time for dinner. And I feel like I spent less time with my parents. And in school I’d always be so anxious for the bell to ring so I can get back to playing the game…this also caused me not paying attention in class. So…overall the game itself is great but if you’re not careful enough, you might end up getting addicted (And ofc you can get addicted to other games as well)

I'm 32 and my life's a mess because of gaming addiction. All I have now is just regrets. I wish I focused on my studies so I can get a better job. Please, don't let games ruin your relationships and studies. I know I'm guilty of this sh*t as well but I guess I'm a just a coach and not a player lol

If the game affects you and others this negatively then don't you think at that point it's not a good game?
i need to quit genshin. i know i have to. whenever i log in to play, I don’t feel enthusiasm anymore. all i feel now is whatever one feels when doing chores they don’t like. feels lifeless, no passion, feels robotic. driven by “let’s get this over with” instead of “i wanna do this. lets gooo!”
i’m just really tired of the extreme RNG of this game especially artifact farming. i’m nauseous just thinking i have to farm artifacts again if i get a new character.

This is exactly why hoyoverse killed an entire genre .genshin impact succeeded into introducing gacha genre to a huge new player base who never played this genre before , they had the chance to bring in lore people into this genre but because of their greed and short sited profit generation tactics ,they literally killed this genre. Anyone who played this game wont have any energy left to play any other gacha game ever .it really breaks people emotionally just how gambling turn peoples lives miserable. Kids bevome more depressed and frustrated living full time in a boring repetitive game cycle and rewarded very little .spending money is even worst . Am i sad that this genre is dying ? Hell no , it is definitely for the better that people stay away from these casino games .if anything,im glad that people are starting ho see the ugly face of gacha games and how they can ruin proples life and affect their mental health .
Agreed. This game's gameplay and lore is beautiful, only to be overshadowed by their company's greediness.
Agree to the max and not only that but whoever introduced mobile and gacha games should be demoted or fired since it is both smart and lazy to people that play this gambling thing.
This is the same reason I don't read Webtoons or consume anything that doesn't have a clear trajectory; they either are lengthened out and don't conclude/carry over properly, or they prematurely cancel. Genshin fits the former.
Live service models suck for the playerbase.
Man This Vid Hits home 😂 i never realized i had a gambling addiction till i played Genshin and man im still trying to financially recover from how badly i fucked up since launch of this (7 months Genshin Sober aside from a Few attempts here and there trying to get into it as a F2P now and I just couldn't do it)
its wild how i could look at 60$-70$ games and be very hesitant on them and waited for reviews/demos to be sure or just outright opted for sales but Genshin had me so hooked with Sunk Cost Fallacy's and FOMO that i didnt bat an eye at spending hundreds+ on Trying to get the next shiny new character for my "collection" (man as someone with OCD issues seeing Characters not maxed out constellation wise and not as strong as i could get drove me INSANE (sure you can see what really screwed me $ wise)
It sucks that It took me so long to wake up from this Nightmare, realize i have a Serious problem and Drop it and avoid gachas and P2W games like the Plague.
This Vid needs more popularity,Alot of people have Gambling addictions and probably wont admit it or Even acknowledge it cause they are caught up in this games admittedly beautiful world and characters (Props to people who manages to stay F2P tho massive respect for Holding onto your sanity).
Funny enough I got Smacked down bad by Hurricane Ian And Had to Do full on house repairs ect and i also went about a month with no electricity and months Without internet (The towers and everything were gone) really helped me curb that addiction, now whenever i even think about Genshin i get a Feeling of disgust in my Stomach and i Go back to Games that arnt Gacha trash and have more fun 🤣.

I'm not that determined myself. Though I haven't said anything about quitting this game, I can feel myself burning out and wanting to do less every session or spend more time away from it.
Live service games like Genshin, I wish they never existed.
Genshin launched with next to no content and the same resin system it has today. It wasn't a full game at all and after over 3 years its still not "finished". There is still more area's for them to add to the game because no one has played the full version of Genshin because they have trained their players to only care about updates and updates being the only reason the game lives.
People are so addicted to Genshin it has ruined an entire genre of games. The world would be a better place without Live service games, without Genshin. If they had focused a lot more on combat and included a lot things like abyss then maybe. But them coming out and saying there will be no end game and then people crying about it but then playing it anyway and giving them money anyway proves that these devs have got players so addicted that even when they are told directly that this game is not for them, they keep playing.
The best choice you can make if you are a genshin player, is to quit and not look back.
I quit after they keep adding card game content, seriously no one play that boring card game.

It's some game called TCG it's just u can get character cards and to have better characters u need to play the card game more for some coins. I personally don't play the game bc I don't like card games that aren't called Uno

Im officially dropping this game . I tried to and successfully did for 6 months . Downlaoded again for eula , but tbh , is it worth it? No , its not . I spent way too much time playing this game , getting digital rewards and satisfaction, instead of real life tangible rewards.
Im sticking to games i can log in , play , and feel satisified.
Genshin always had that feeling of "theres more to do , and youre missing out on something"
Honestly, if I somehow go back to the game, I'll just play it for the story. None of that wishing bs anymore.

It was hard to delete my account with having spent hundreds of dallors on five stars, but I realized I would login to do dailies and then log out and play Guild wars 2 for hours. The game is just a chore and it's worth it not having to ever hear paimon ever again.
It's a cycle. Also paimon's voice can be irritating sometimes lol
I didn’t realise till I thought about it, in FGO I am able to play the game at my own pace and I never have any troubles saving my premium currency but in genshin it’s hard to save at all it’s kinda of a show as to what this game does to people
Damn, bro! This hits me hard. I know you're from Ph not because of your accent but the typhoon that hit us. I'm already 32 with no of my own and still living with my parents. I know I have sh*tty decisions in life. If we could turn back time, I could have been in a better place right now. Doing dailies for two of my Genshin and a Star Rail account felt like a chore. I started to spend on Welkins for both of my Genshin accounts consistently like a year ago. I just recently stopped spending on Welkins and I need more motivation to completely quit Genshin and Star Rail. I think I'm still playing these games is because I do not have any other hobbies. I also need more motivation to start learning how to code on my own so I can switch career and get a better salary. My life's a mess! lmao

I dropped this game 2 weeks into its launch, the game itself had left a poor first impression on me due to the greed and lack of real content. I recently got into Limbus Company and my first multi-pull upon returning was one of the best character IDs, which was "The One Who Grips" variant of Faust.
It probably helps also that Limbus Company feels tailored for more mature audiences, since it is surprisingly gory for a turn-based game. Kinda gives off Darkest Dungeon vibes in my opinion
I also deleted this genshin impact today cuz I wasn't able to focus on work and college and like you said this game doesn't give enough resources, always getting trash artifacts and more.
2 days ago I was playing windtrace while talking with my friends and they asked me while I was playing the game mode if I didn't like it and I said I was playing it for the primogens, and then I had a moment of realization that I didn't play genshin for the story or open world it was always just day in day out all for primo gems so i quit later that day and it feels good.
Honestly if you're not having fun, you made the right decision.

I have only done till Chasm and then stopped playing but this is exactly what happens in every nation from Mondstadt to Inazuma, I might return at some point for Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya, but for now I have left this game and probably won’t continue, but I’m basically 100% sure that everything listed has happened in Sumeru and Fontaine

@@vampiszoonis9691 I've few new games that's already released 'll within a months that last me for few yrs . cities skyline 2 , baludrs gate 3, armored core VI to name of few & some other online games that i play on & off or whenever they bring out new char s - vindictus,bdo... I only tried GI to test how gacha game are & I honestly would like to avoid it as from my prepec.. I'm just wasting too much money in such games for too little gain + i doesnt really offer why I play games in general - challenge thats fun/creative rathe then illusion of it..

Yeah... day by day its gets really repetitive especially when returning from time to time new updates, new quests new domains, new characters, new waifus, a new region. coming from me, even when you quit for months on end you'll be left with so much things to do. yes I trully agree that it's time-consuming. I mean why wouldn't I quit? like what's the point you keep getting crap artifacts.
i quit genshin half of 2022 and returned again and quit my spending there. now i just spend on tangible things like cosplay stuff, and it feels more fulfilling than getting some digital rewards. im not quitting the game yet because i kinda have some goals for it and lore and not really much about the gacha

Quit it's very very great option 👍🏻 when you quit you can see your device come very very healthy, your life come good and very very stable, your family parents come very very like you yeah it's true when you stop, if you still playing you broken anything because genshin many negative effects.
Used to play this game a lot, started at around late 2020-mid 2021 and continued to the end of 2022 and at around that time I was super burnt out if the game, and dropped the game by the time star rail came played star rail for a month but dropped it too, currently playing honkai impact 3rd and tbh so far it’s my favorite hoyo game, played it for half of this year and still not really burnt out and the story is actually better than Genshin, though gacha games in general are a pretty bad thing to play thankfully I don’t actually use real money on honkai impact as I did in genshin
I’m back 2 months later just to say, Honkai impact 3rd is probably my favorite game story of all time, I stopped at chapter 28, but planning to continue soon, and also just really enjoyable, my favorite character is Bronya (not hsr, there is a Bronya in hi3rd) and the gameplay is generally really fun, I’m planning to play this game until either the servers are closed, or the story ended, since this game’s story is divided into different parts (part 1 is chapters 1-35, part 1.5 is chapters 36-42, and part 2 which releases this February), all in all amazing game, beautiful cutscenes, and as Da Wei said “honkai is a positive and wholesome story” though that was a lie, it’s not wholesome nor positive, it may be the most depressing, most heartbreaking game I’ve played, probably because it’s based on evangelion

I quit genshin because my previous psn account was stolen thus i had to create a new one, all my save files and digital games were lost but i don't care i can just buy them again and get back to where i was, oh wait you can't do that in genshin cause of limited story events, and I've been playing genshin since launch so i made the decision to quit. However if the Genshin team puts the story events back into the game as interludes and allows you to have multiple save files on the same account like eso then I'll continue playing

I am trying to find videos like these to convince myself into quitting Genshin, I spent $100 per month on the game and took almost every Sunday of mine just finishing the events.
I’ve played since the game released and spent so much money on the game already that kinda forced me not to quit as all my hardwork goes to waste.. but I also want my Sundays, $1,200 a year and going to sleep without fearing I haven’t done my dailies & resin..
It didn’t affect my relationship or work but I feel like, without Genshin I would have more air to breathe, time to relax and space to roam

I never thought anyone could create a game that wastes more time than Sid Meier's Civilization series, but somehow Mihoyo did with Genshin Impact, lol!
I feel bored with the storyline and character design is almost similar to other characters made by mihoyo... I have stopped playing from 3 months ago and waiting for ww and project mugen to be released.

Gacha is their main source of income so they wouldn't be so generous with the primogems as they want us to pay for it.
