Thousands take part in the Mater Hospital Heart Run in Nairobi

Thousands of Kenyans turned out today for the annual Mater Heart Run, organized by Mater Hospital, and held simultaneously across ten counties. In Nairobi, the event took place at Ulinzi Sports Complex, attracting significant participation from corporate groups, schools and Kenyans of goodwill.
The mater Heart Fund, which has so far assisted 5,448 children from disadvantaged backgrounds, aims to raise funds for critical open-heart surgeries and related treatments. This year, Royal Media Services served as the official media partner, with a dynamic team present to support the cause.
In addition to Nairobi, the run was held In Mombasa, Kisumu, Kakamega, Machakos, Eldoret, Kericho, Bomet, Nakuru, and Nyeri, underscoring a nationwide effort to aid children with heart conditions.
