I think it would be super interesting to see if you couldn't print or create a new sticker, so that you could use the sanctum as a way to pass in between your medieval world and the city. Like if you redesigned your moc to be a medieval sanctum
I just got the new Sanctorum yesterday so it's hard for me to comment on it, but I was pleased to see that my son and I can build it easily together. Your version was really awesome! I don't blame you for wanting to hang onto it. Perhaps in time you could repurpose it into a cool museum or a heritage building.
I do love the colours they’ve used in the official set. And it looks great where you out it. But I like mocs more as they have that bit more uniqueness. Are you keeping yours in the city too? And stairs!!! Come on LEGO 🤣 But yeah, I reckon you should add more roof detail to yours. I put a washing line and garden beds on mine - how you see it in endgame.
I bought this set, I still have 2 of the older SS Showdown sets (one built, one not) so I might make mine a bit bigger to include the 6 studs of space on the back.
Wow, you have the forest hideout but I get one with the lego assembly square, the creator set. Because I do have that free hand out lego set but I don’t really want to show to everyone on TH-cam because I don’t think I wanted to be a TH-camr but I am going to be a business man when I grow up

I actually think this new Sanctum is a better modular set for 2022 than the Boutique Hotel is. Don't get me wrong, the Boutique Hotel is nice, but the Sanctorum just seems more complete, it is using more baseplate space for a corner building than the Hotel is, even though that's what most of the complaints are about, regarding this new Sanctum is that it doesn't go far back enough. I think to keep costs down, they had to sacrifice back space and printed tiles. The Marvel licence for this set raised the price enough.
I'd have to agree with you. We are definitely seeing the era of less costs more. It's very unfortunate. I am hoping we see an improvement with the 2023 modular, but I think we'll see an even higher price tag.

We know that there are 3 sanctums in 3 different cities (NY, London, Hong Kong) so respectfully if you got the space in your city I think that’ll be a cool thing to do
i see your point of could been 2 blocks wider to make more space but i actually like detail more on lego version for the tiny details & easter eggs myself.
I know you like keeping as many offices sets in the city as possible, but what if you combined the best aspects of both sanctorums here? Maybe the overall shape and outer design of the LEGO version, the bigger size of yours, the central staircase of the official, the MUCH cooler monster from yours, etc?
Here's an idea. I understand your wanting to keep your original sanctum moc and I do totally get that. But have you thought about turning it the other way so the pizzeria is visible this time on entering the basement
I think what I would do in your position is I'd modify the new set just to give it that extra 6 studs of space on the inside. They cramped it enough by making it a corner building, the least they could do is actually fill out the corner. As much as possible, I'd make use of the existing designs of the set, keep them the way they are, but expand and add to them using the ideas and parts from the MOC. But of course, keep the MOC building and maybe like you said, convert it into an apartment building. Or something totally unique. (eg. In a Lego city dominated by the Avengers Tower, the Sanctum Sanctorum and the Daily Bugle, in this small, disused apartment building we find the Justice League, and by the Justice League I mean several versions of Batman, plotting revenge against the Avengers for not being angsty enough.)
I think you should the elements from the inside of your MOC to the sanctum sanctorum set, and keep the exterior of your MOC. You can repurpose the interior with something else. The placement of the towers now looks better
The new Sanctum Santorum got a good spot. Both buildings have there pro and cons. But like lego has there progress you also learn a lot from new sets. And maybe you got new ideas to do some new mods on your Moc
It looks like a great set but I think your MOC definitely has some cool features that the new set doesn't. For me it's disappointing that it's neither a full corner modular (why not) nor is it a normal straight modular. The inclusion of an alley seems a bit of a fail from the point of view of being a proper modular a bit like the Daily Bugle. And the lack of staircase to the top seems a strange omission. Still I will be getting this set probably with a view to MODing it, maybe into a full corner, which would also solve some of the space problem that you highlighted.

I don't like this set. I think the interior design is terrible, the laneway makes it not like any corner modular, the two portals make it incompatible with a normal city, the stickers - yuck. The worst feature is the stairway and the way it destroys both the ground floor and level 1.

If the new one won't fit over time, don't just box it up. Maybe use its finer elements to punch up the detail on yours?

MOC Sanctum is the London Sanctum now and the new one is the NY Sanctum. That is my current plan for my Sanctum MOC.

Personally I'd keep your MOC, and use the Lego one to add more details for your own build. Lego version could be easily made into another building.
