it took me a long time to get my head around this one.. (all this might just be me 😂 ) the amount of power they have is just unreal. the frame is quite rigid aswell which can make them a bit track sensitive. I ended up turning the high speed up ¾ of a turn because it was trying to throw me off 😂 also put rx springs all round for trail, sag set and took 1 click off the top on the front. have just put a tooth higher gearing on the back and it has taken some of the initial power hit out and made it more ridable as a trail bike.
@@nakitrailrides thanks for info and quick reply I've just got the 2020 yz250 and to be honest I'm not feeling it at all so was going to pick a 2019 crf 450 at the weekend I mainly ride track it's just how snappy there ment to be the story's you hear about 450s are they that bad hahha
1080p at 60fps. i feel it looks about right for the pace i remember.. but it does not give you all the feeling that comes with actually riding the bike
Hey naki, Im looking to buy a 2018 crf450r just for riding around a farm i hearded that all crf450r overheat when your not racing them is your bike stock or did you make adjustments to stop it from overheating.
its a standard bike in regard of the cooling system... all mx bikes tend to stay at a reasonable temperature when moving along like on a trail ride ( as long as the radiators are not caked in shit) but if you are crawling along/ idling it will get hot quickly
@@nakitrailrides hey mate one more question whats the servicing like alot of people say its a pain to service but changing the oil and tranny oil around 10 hours seems easy also cleaning or replacing the air filter?
@@truazza8290 i personally have never ran the same oil for anywhere close to 10 hours, these bikes do not hold much oil. since a small amoumt of oil works really hard compared to a lot of oil i find it best to do it a lot more frequently. the manual for my bike says 1 litre of engine oil, but it does not even read on the dipstick at that point. i run 1.4 litres and have never had any come out the breather and i change that every 3 hours max. air filters are just as important, if not more important to service as oil
