Hi Scott The boat is still on yacht fractions.co.uk. Is there a share available at the moment?

      Hi Karen,
Yes I sold my share very easily within a week or so. Since then another partner has decided to get a bigger boat, so he is selling his share.
So this video is listed in the Yacht Fractions ad.
There is a share for sale. So send me your email & I'll forward it to the share owner. Or ask Yacht Fractions to pass your details to the seller

How much experience is required to become a shareholder in her? I'm in the process of getting my day skipper and will be looking for a share, presumably once I've got a few flotillas under my belt. Also, how long can you generally book her for at a time?

      Hi Chris,
Potential partners have to be agreed by the syndicate based on their experience. We had a new partner this year he was in the process of getting his day skipper so he was accepted on the basis that he couldn’t use the boat unless he passed the DS.
He passed his Day Skipper and went out 2 weeks to use the boat. He had a great time. He is due back to the UK this Wednesday.
Your share entitles you to 5 weeks per year, in 2 blocks a 2 week and a 3 week block. Last year one of the partners booked his 2 week block to end when his 3 week block started , so he got a 5 week block, but this is unusual. Usually people have 2 holidays, one early and one late in the summer.

@@scottmcdonald3019 Thank you. One more question if you don't mind - Is the lump sum a one-off or an annual payment? In addition to the monthly charges, of course.

Chris Chart there is a one off cost to buy the share, which is yours to sell at a future date. You are likely to get the same value when you sell. Then there is the monthly contribution to running costs. £120 per month at the moment. In addition any extra expenditure, say new sails, etc , if approved by all partners would be shared equally between all five partners

@@chrischart owning a share is very attractive financially compared to chartering on flotilla. An equivalent charter boat is around £2k per week. So 5 weeks charter would cost £10k ish. Compared to a revenue contribution on a syndicate boat of £1.5k ish
