Even though she would get distracted but at least she is standing next to you. Just so she knows no TV during prayer. It will become a routine and she will get the hang of it.... It was just a thought. Obviously they are kids, no big deal😊 bc baby steps if you can get them to pray with you they will get used to it. Obviously she doesn't have to stand still next to you but not putting on the tv is something she can used to ❤

Yea I’m exclusively breastfeeding, I was scared it would affect my milk supply but it’s actually going great and normally, I just make sure to eat a good suhoor & drink plenty of water. I used to think milk supply would be affected by fasting but it doesn’t at all!

Hi cutie just wanted to mention something I know I'm late but I just got to watch the video, anyway, in the video u said you woke up and decided to try and fast, I really appreciate that of you but idk if you know that in Ramadan we have to make niyya or intention to fast before fasting so you can't just decide to fast through the day you have to have made the intention to before Fajr or like sunrise (you can do that in sonna fasting but not in Ramadan)

A headache is one of the symptoms of dehydration. That's why your milk has stopped. You're just dehydrated. Try drinking more water in the morning instead of eating. In the evening, drink water first, then eat.
Especially after pregnancies I recommend supplementing with magnesium and potassium, having cashews in the morning and omega 3’s; even for guys it makes such a big difference.. in fact why are dates so good for you: electrolytes!!! To help with thirst and breast milk, have cantaloupe or watermelon as it takes a lot longer to go through the body than water.. Ramadan Mubarak!!!

I can so relate with how to balance bedtime during Ramadan. My daughter goes to bed between 7-7:30 and that is iftar time. We just end up letting her stay up but it’s hard especially when they have school. May Allah make it easy for everyone. 🥰

I get headaches really easily during Ramadan too well I just get headaches easily in general but fasting doesn’t help. It really does make the day go by way worse than just being hungry and thirsty and I’m just asking myself how the heck am I gonna go the whole day like this? Because they don’t go away they start pretty early in the day.

Mashallah the way you engage with your family is so beautiful, you're such a good mom and your example is inspiring! The kids activities look so fun and will give good childhood memories. You're very strong to try to fast with a baby also, it's not easy to stay hydrated and rested with a little one. Coconut water and watermelon are my favorites for hydration in case it helps.
