    The Struggle is Real, and it looks like you made a nice save with this last-minute campsite. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Safe Travel.

      Thanks, Craig! Yeah, it was an enjoyable enough weekend that Wifey-poo forgave me for screwing up the "planned" outing. (insert long exhaled sigh of relief here...) 😳 Glad you gave the video a look!

    We live across the lake in on the Georgia side. Have yet to stay in a campground on Hartwell. Guess it’s too close to home. But hey, the distillery is a great place. Although, I do want to stay at Tugaloo state park one day. Good video!

    • @LiveNLearnRV
      @LiveNLearnRV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tugaloo is on our "Wish List.". Lake Hartwell State Park on the SC side is pretty nice, so keep that in mind, too. Thanks so much for watching!

    I live in Evans Ga and would love for you to make videos of the campgrounds you haven’t done yet around Clark’s Hill - Strom Thurmond Lake. Like Winfield, Big Hart, Ridge Road, Raysville, Hamilton Branch State Park, Pointes West Army Resort, Bobby Brown State Park, Soap Creek, Plum Branch. Might have missed a few to name.

    • @LiveNLearnRV
      @LiveNLearnRV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You'll (probably) see us do one for Hamilton Branch sooner rather than later. Ft. Gordon's Recreation Area won't allow us (civilians) to enter. Chances are we'll hit all the CoE properties around here eventually.

    • @djt9530
      @djt9530 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be great. Love Hamilton Branch. I enjoy watching your videos so making one of all the CoE campgrounds would be awesome. You’re right. I forgot civilians can’t use Fort Gordon’s Pointes West Army Resort. She said I could stay there because my dad was ex Military.

    Thanks for the video! Great footage...especially the drone stuff. We've yet to hit a Corps of Engineers campground. That one looks like a great summer destination. Have a great start to school, Jessie!

      With your kayaking, you oughtta keep CoE campgrounds in mind, since they all seem to focus on water access/activities. The couple we've hit so far are kept in good-to-great shape and campsite fees are about the same as state parks (if not a little cheaper). Our only knock on CoE is that they don't put any effort into setting out or maintaining hiking or biking trails, but I do understand why they don't. Thanks for watching, amigo!

      @@LiveNLearnRV Thanks for the insight! I will definitely look into them. Our son just moved to Georgia, so we gotta start looking more that way than before.

      Well, yes, Anderson is charming (lots of artsy-type stuff going on), but let's face it - you guys are sorta "winning" the sight-seeing contest at the moment. 😉 Thanks for watching!

    Really nice seeing you both again. Glad as well that you got a camping spot in such short notice. Nice you went to town called Anderson. Abs are there and learned history and went a distillery. Did you get tipsy? Lol! Good luck going back to school and to work. Have a great night and great week until we meet again.

    Hartwell is a great place to visit! So much to do there. We just filmed at Hartwell Dam last week. It's a cool place to see the energy generation process. If you ever go back, check it out!

      I'll bet it's very interesting! We did a video at Thurmond Dam last summer, but so much of the facility was closed off because of freakin' COVID that we'll have to go back someday. Thanks so much for watching this one!

    • @LiveNLearnRV

      Thanks!!! That big yellow ring must've been a dud - it would hold air, but water kept seeping into it through the seams. It would eventually be full enough of water that it would start to sink. I tossed it in the dumpster as we were leaving the park... 😞
