- This one is tricky. It’s one of those wines that gets the best of us in blind tasting. However, we can learn so much about the wine region by paying attention to how it’s made.

So what wine is it?
Wagner Stempel Estate Pinot Blanc from Rheinhessen, Germany

Nice job on this tricky one, a really good one. Nice to see the vineyard and wine maker in the video, that was a very cool touch.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nicely done. The clues are there, thanks for helping us think it through. And great seeing your old iceberg graphic again!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, this one was a tricky one. I thought Chenin Blanc, then Muscat Blanc, didn't think it could be Pinot Blanc.
Then I thought Alto Adige for region, not Rheinhessen. I automatically associate Rheinhessen with Riesling, Dornfelder, Spatburgunder, Silvaner, etc.
The production of Pinot Blanc aka Weissburgunder is very low there, it's usually one that you find in Baden.
Showing the vineyard and winemaker was uber cool, I hope more of these videos include that. Cheers and a great video!
Guessed correctly on both! Guess I deserve a celebratory glass 🥂 loving this series Wine Folly!
This was a great one.
Love Pinot blanc from alto adige…..and Germany…. Cheers.
Ha, ha fooled me with this one. I thought it was Albarino. Interesting video!
Freakin love this format!
Got it right both times! The almond element almost threw me; I'd love to try it sometime! 😊
Man I love Rheinhessen, so much good stuff, for Riesling-lovers and Riesling-averse! Have you tried frühburgunder from the Pares in Ingelheim?
🎉Happy Tasting Salute!

fun video, and learning a lot with these videos
Glad to hear it!
Great video!!!!!
Always wonderful to see producers introduce their wines! But wouldn't an unoaked chardonnay be lighter in texture? Could someone explain to me why the fuller texture could have been a clue that it could be unoaked chardonnay?
I love the video from the winemaker! What a fun personal touch. Would love to try this bottle if we can get it in Utah!
this was great!
Here is some algorithm, cause this content is fantastic
thank you kindly.
so tempermatically strict. I would drive half as much at twice the quality if I could just buy a chilled bottle.
yet africa. is a grape.
