SHS 2 CORE MATH; Calculate the Mean using Assumed Mean Method (Grouped & Ungrouped) Data
In today's video, we are going to learn how to find the mean using the assumed mean method for both grouped and ungrouped data.
Assumed Mean = guess mean.
Mean = Actual mean
1. Mean = sum of fx/sum of f
2. Mode = highest occuring value
3. Median = middle number of the list or arithmetic mean of two middle numbers
4. modal class = class/interval with the highest frequency
5. median class
1. mean (average value) = sum of all values in a data set/number of values
2. mode = the number that appears most frequently
3. median = middle number from the list

Please make a question of posible exam question
okay, thanks so much Salla, where are you watching me from?
WHT if the assumed mean is not given
if the assumed mean is not given, there is a different way in solving, check the core math playlist on the channel.
How to come A=56
The Assumed mean (A) is given in the question
