If you want to stop the growth of glow berries you can just right click on their tip with sheers. But it works only for glow berries.

I've tried and it doesn't seem to work for me.
Totally! I use the website vanillatweaks.net/
Go to the data packs section, click all the data packs you want, and then download the zip file. Then, go to your .minecraft folder (you can get there by pressing Win + R, typing in %appdata%, and clicking on .minecraft). Once you’re in the .minecraft folder, click on the saves folder, open the world file you’re trying to put it in, and click and drag the zipped folder into the data packs folder.

Yeah that how I was installing it but every time it's active it stops all mobs in my world from dropping anything at all.
The only time they do drop items is if it not me who takes them out. Basically if a zombie burns up in the sunlight, it will drop items, but if I take them out, I get nothing at all.
I'm on the latest version 1.20.6 but the data pack says it's for an older version even though I downloaded it yesterday from vanilla tweaks
Oh yeah that’s exactly the issue
In 1.20.5 and up, Minecraft changed a lot of the code, so the vanilla tweaks team is currently trying to change all of their code so it’ll work. You’ll need to wait until a newer data pack comes out to be able to use it.
I’m still playing on 1.20.4 so that’s why I’m able to use the data pack btw. Also, I wouldn’t recommend going back in versions because that might corrupt the world
