Hmmm.. Looks good! I'm at work and all Mrs. Willy sent is a bologna sandwich. Sure could take one of those burger right about now. Really cool little grille and the price was right. The oil process to prepare the grille reminds me of how we used to "season" an iron skillet. Thanks for sharing!!
Those were tasty! I normally use flax seed oil but did not have any. It is best for seasoning black iron and grills. I will get the accessories, the griddle for cooking carne asada, bacon and pancakes and the grate for pots and pans to boil water or cook and it comes with the bbq grate. We'll see how it holds up off road in the badlands! Planning some offroad adventures this season. Mrs Willie might upgrade you to roast beef one day!
Oiling the lid seems a bit overkill as plenty of oils and grease will results from grilling burgers and such. Looks like the grill is aluminum coated with a thin non-stick material. It's a sure bet using metal spatulas will do wonders on that non-stick surface after a few uses. Best to use silicone or wood utensils. Here's a tip, DON'T use non-stick spray as they contain chemicals that build up and bake onto the surface actually reducing any non-stick characteristics over time.
Observation: Umm . . . scuse me but that foil is a no-no? Meaning air flow? Also did yo see a deer with shoulder scars? I fought for our potatoes. Thanks.
You're excused, I cook vegetables all the time in foil pouches no air flow needed as they are being steamed and turn out perfect every time. No deer with shoulder scars but a blind hawk just flew by and thank you for your service in fighting for our potatoes but most of all thanks for taking the time to watch 😎
They used to come with a grill grate for pots when they came out so did the party grill but now they discontinued them I don't know why still can't find them
Got lucky with this one. It was on a list on Amazon when I was researching them and noticed it had a price reduction that made it hard to resist. The right place at the right time.
Hey Gail! Where we are the canisters can be as much as $8.00 us each, I haven't purchased any in a long time because yes these are refillable! That was one of the reasons I chose this grill. At first you may need to buy some canisters to start if you don't have any, then get an adapter to fill them from larger tanks. Hope this helps 😎

It's going to be an epic season starting with your race! Getting ready for the opening season and lots of bbq-ing and smoking.

I'm curious where you found it for $48? That's a heck of a deal.

I prefer the double fold n go cooking 🍳 on both sides
That's a nice one too! Thanks for watching 😎
That would be the fold n go stove, correct?
Price of canisters and are they refillable?
