I remember when I first heard this song and watched the video. I stumbled across it running from the warrant unit. I was squatting in a bando, and scared to go home. I heard this song, and the first go round I heard it but I wasn't listening. So i played it again, and I listened and the more she sang, the more I began to soften, and break. Then I listened again and tried to sing it. I couldn't. I began to cry,so hard. So hard that I couldn't breath through my nose. That's the day I stopped running from the police. I called on the name of Jesus many many times. When I injured my back at work 11 years ago, I called on Jesus. With every movement my body had to make, each time the pain took my breathe away. Years still trying to work to provide for my family, still calling on the name Jesus. Through my two back surgeries, the second the pain was more severe than the first, getting through numerous physical therapies, learning at the age of 38 to swallow pills whole instead of crushing them up, bringing me through my many storms. I called on the name of Jesus and he's been with me. And I thank God for being in my life. I apologize for going into so much detail, but my mom says this is my testimony. I talks to him daily and I beg for strength to endure this pain and mercy to help me get through it. It's been 5 months since my last back surgery and I am still in terrible pain. I ask for the children of God to pray for me. Please.

I remember when I first heard this song and watched the video. I stumbled across it running from the warrant unit. I was squatting in a bando, and scared to go home. I heard this song, and the first go round I heard it but I wasn't listening. So i played it again, and I listened and the more she sang, the more I began to soften, and break. Then I listened again and tried to sing it. I couldn't. I began to cry,so hard. So hard that I couldn't breath through my nose. That's the day I stopped running from the police. I want home and didn't sleep in that bando again. A few months. later, I got locked up, and I kept that song on my heart. Years still trying to work to provide for my family, still calling on the name Jesus. Through my two back surgeries, the second the pain was more severe than the first, getting through numerous physical therapies, learning at the age of 38 to swallow pills whole instead of crushing them up, bringing me through my many storms. I called on the name of Jesus and he's been with me. And I thank God for being in my life. I apologize for going into so much detail, but my mom says this is my testimony. I talks to him daily and I beg for strength to endure this pain and mercy to help me get through it. It's been 5 months since my last back surgery and I am still in terrible pain. I ask for the children of God to pray for me. Please.
