  • A little bit ago, we had our first ride on the 2021 Beta 300 RX two-stroke motocross machine. If you didn’t see that, a quick refresher is that Beta, having never had a motocross machine before, is getting into the moto game with this 300cc two-stroke, soon to be followed by a 450cc four-stroke that an MXGP team is soon to be riding in the 2021 FIM World Motocross Championship. After the initial ride, there were a few things we wanted to try with the Beta 300 RX, the main thing being the suspension. We went straight to the horse's mouth and reached out to KYB USA to see if they could help us dial in the stock suspension. From there we added a mix of parts from Beta’s Hard Parts catalog. They run a program that is very similar to KTM/Husqvarna/GASGAS where they offer bike-specific parts through their dealer. Click play and check it out!
For a full list of parts check out VitalMX.com.

It is tough to try to fix the looks on what might very well be the most beautiful mx bike ever made. Lol those beta race editions are just simply beautiful

Sheeez I can’t believe you guys, You have a Beta so why aren’t you going to Beta? Betausa has their own Beta Factory suspension tuning available to go to for whatever suspension tuning. Go to who knows better.

the main issue is that it is an xc bike with a stiffer shock and whatnot if u ask me its a xc bike with the stuff needed for mx but its still a more xc orientated bike

I love my Beta 300. Not for moto-x. But I feel the rake is not steep enough as well

Keep the sag under 100, and run the forks up in the clamps.

I am an owner of a new TM Racing 300, and can verify that it is the best handling 300 on the market! It also has the best engine I have ever felt - I'm sold on the brand forever!!! The MX450Fi twin pipe will be my next purchase within the next 24 months...

@@jonathondavis170 Also as a 300 owner I’m really curious myself about the 450! But I don’t know that I could part with the 300, it’s so fun to ride! It’s like a Swiss Army knife of a bike!

Not only did they take the best looking bike on the market and hit it with an ugly stick, they totally jacked up the chassis balance trying to fix the height. The bike took 2nd at the 2 Stroke Championships with Dare Demartile, but they went to KYB and got it all screwed up.

I agree on looks. I race xc and had to do a little bit of adjustment to better set the bike up. I run a similar fork height and the same sag. I am interested in a non Sachs shock. The stock valving on the kyb forks has a harsh mid but I believe you should always have a bike revalved and resprung for your weight, skill level and speed.

@@AspearMotorSports If you want a Beta to stick in a turn, lengthen the shock 4mm or run under 100 preload. The Sachs with the Lainer compression adjuster is as good as anything out there.

I would just do a low seat because every guy i know just says the Bike is really great so why fuck up the handling to make the Bike lower 😅 for the Power why not change the gearing internally 🤔

Hey you should say the facts on what you did when it was skatey pitchy. In a another video. Show us what skatey is. Then you slow rebound or compression. And show us that also. It will help everyone with are personal stuff. So we see what was turned for the bike doing this to much and why to much. Hope it makes sense.

So cool to have another option.
But for now if you want a 300mx bike I guess KTM/HUSKY are the go with Power Parts division kit.
Also I know there are a few different aftermarket kits for the Yammy too like Athena and ESR etc.

TM Racing has a wonderful parts catalog, and honestly I could do without any of the mods cause my bike is just that damn good...I'm still saving up for them to purchase all at once cause the VHM head and insert, and Pro X Racing Piston go well with the Pro Circuit pipes, STIC Metering Bloc, and STIC-JD Jetting Kit for the Keihin PWK 38 Racing Carb all make the powerplant unbelievable. TM Racing have a MEAN 300 for MX, XC, and Enduro!
