Achile Ebikwo late reply but it very nice. I go to many Zambian and Nigerian parties because of it and they are similar in some ways but also very different. It’s nice to understand both sides, like what they eat and how they act. They also cook differently.
Thank you for the lessons! I’m a Zambian born and bred but my parents didn’t teach me. I’m now 22 and taking into my own hands... it’s never too late to learn right? Lol
This is brilliant!! Thankyou I was born in England and really missed out on the conversation as my whole family speaks numerous dialects and I want to surprise them in me speaking ! I will update in a few months
I was there when I was a kid....came to India long time now hopefully going back soon...i love this language...when I was kid I almost understood and spoke abit but now I forgot it....thnx fr this helpful video.
I am in South Africa, and i find your videos so helpful... And the explanation to different phrases is awesome. It really helps to understand how a phrase is translated and not just a word... Helping me so much. Please go more videos like this!! ❤️X
Hello my name is Louie Johnnie I’m Canadian, and I went to Lusaka Zambia this learn year in the summer. I was wondering if we met at Cosmopolitan Mall at the Pizza place or the Ice cream shop and you asked me questions and I didn’t know what was “where do you live?” Looking forward to your response
Hey Louie, if it was last June that was me! “Munkala kuti?” The spelling may not be right but that is how it sounds phonetically. If you would like private lessons you can email speaknyanja@gmail.com
Hi 😀 I'm planing to get a dog next year and would like to give him a Nyanja name. Did some research and found out that "Dzuwa pafupi ndi Rhodesia" means "Sun above Rhodesia". Nice to read the name, but how exactly is it spoken?
Thank you so much for this! I'm with the Esther School in Nyangwena, Zambia. How do you pronounce the "th" sound in a word? Hope to see more from you soon :)
True! I translate pang'ono pang'ono as bit by bit or slowly slowly. Sometimes words or phrases aren't grammatically correct but I think it helps people understand the individual words themselves when they are matched up exactly, even if repeating words isn't the intended purpose.
You're very right sir. Your teaching is amazing. I live Lusaka but am not from the nyanja language. Am Bemba from kasama. I wish to start teaching bemba like you're doing with Nyanja. How can I do it?
