Hello am from Belize and was watching your cooking show.What you refer to as Johnny cake is what we in belize refer to ask fryjacks.Our Johnny cakes are made with coconut milk, salt, baking powder and flour. Then it is baked in the oven. In the old days it was baked in a baking pot with fair on top.
