I hate how the wannabe hero is always trying to sabotage her and turn her into a villain for him to cement his fake status as a hero. shes not even evil, shes just insanely powerful.
Later it's explained as teenage pride and insecurity. These boys, as heirs of nobles and royals, can't accept that her level is the result of hard work, as it means they don't work hard enough.
You would be surprised how common is in real life as well, minus the whole hero status thing etc.
Many people I've met that weren't as good at something they constantly tried to undermine and sabotage me in things i was better, when it didn't work they tried to spread rumours and so on and so on. So it's pretty common

The prince and the other are not fake or wannabe hero, they are one... Until the author decide to scrap the Royal blood and the Saint is the only one that can harm the demon lord after so many build up and turn our protagonist into Saitama at the last second and solo the demon lord.
Not to mention at the school he’s not meant to be using his status as Prince, he’s meant to just be a student. Instead he skipped all his classes to get involved in school business while exerting a status he isn’t supposed to be relying on.even if he has suspicions like everyone else, he had no place putting himself in the middle of it. If he were anyone else he’d be given detention just for missing the classes without cause

Which is hilarious since even his own parents - the king and queen - told him he was wrong and to knock it off, and he still kept on trying to make people believe she was fake.

I always wondered what happened to the old headmaster. Like the king just decided to replace him with his trusted aide to keep an eye on Yumiella but kinda wish they told what really happened to him since you know, he and the crown prince egg the time bomb to explode faster. I get why the crown prince get a slap on the wrist cause of course they do.
It’s implied, but the two reasons seem to be the trusted aide thing and that the headmaster tried to expel Yumiella for faking her level. Which, considering Yumiella really is lvl 99, he had no proof she was lying and decided to expel her anyways.
Also king and queen ate doting parents who turn a blind eye to their son's mistakes

There's a reason he got replaced.
Yes and No.
He might not be "the sharpest tool in the shed" but he is not really stupid per se.
#1 He could not believe the level she is at as he knew that the mightiest of knights at court was around level 60
#2 He was issued a command by the prince, denying a "lawful command" by a royal is sure to carry harsh punishments i.e. he had little to no choice in the matter.
#3 The prince is the stupid one. In a later episode he blurted out a national secret with the sole purpose of ... causing highschool drama apparently.
Later the headmaster was replaced, but primarily to keep a closer eye on yumiella who the superiors feared hated the headmaster.
The new headmaster is primarily a spy.
@@JesusKreist I’d disagree for a few reasons but conceded some points. Yes, the level of the knights does make her claims dubious, but he had no proof she was tempering with the tool, as unbelievable as it was.
Next, he was the one who argued for her to be allowed to prove herself, but given the timing of his appearance he went to his study immediately and began the expulsion paperwork. Literally zero time between him saying that, he just said it to seem impartial and benevolent while assuming she’d fail. By his own admittance, he didn’t even look at the results she displayed during the tests, he just did it to look good.
I’d also argue that it is an unlawful order, the Prince isn’t supposed to be using his status. He’s there as a student, has no official position in the school and is only a student while he’s there. Not only should he not be getting involved or issuing orders, he should be punished for ditching the assessments.
Tldr: what the teacher did was actually quite legally and morally dubious. He didn’t confirm anything one way or the other and wanted to lazily resolve this then move on

The headmaster did not begin the expulsion paperwork immediately.
Keep in mind it happened after the introductory martial class *AND* the introductory magical class i.e. after 2 hours at the very least.
He started on it once the prince skipped his classes where yumiella was supposed to prove herself and apparently barged into the headmasters office *TELLING HIM* to start the expulsion paperwork. He was given no chance to listen to the teachers judgement that were present to witness that.
Guess why "lawful command" is set in quotation marks.
As said he largely had no choice in the matter.
It was either filling out the paperwork to expulse yumiella on a royal order or be thrown into jail (or worse) for disregarding a royal order.
You obviously try to have modern society rules applied to the situation.
This is a royal society.
You could tell the school staff a thousand times not to treat the prince like anything special and more than half of the staff still will end up worshipping the ground he walked on.
Only if the king and queen themselves would decree a punishment for everybody that treats their son like a prince it would take some effect.
And since that introduces more political problems than it potentially solves ...
Please keep in mind the royal family has a lowkey rebellion brewing. So making the populace aware that their son is not to be treated as their son in specific situations is ... problematic at best.
They'd be able to abduct the prince because if he is not to be treated as a prince that means he is not supposed to have bodyguards either ...
In these stories. You can't defy the royal unless you have very good political hacking. You can fight back if you are a high ranking nobles like Dukes or marquis but it still depends on the political backing.
King Queen and dowager> crown princess> princes> Duke's > Marquis > Marriages> Count> Viscount > Baron > Knight.
I have no idea what this anime about, but Its funny how the teacher just throws his low level level students at a lvl99 beat-stick.
At that point, nobody believed she was lvl 99.
The guy 0:20 who tried to fight her was the 2nd highest (10 or 15) and was mad because somebody claimed to have a higher level than him.
Same with the blue hair at 1:16 and the prince 1:23 who tried to get her expelled.
All 3 of them got massive ego issues and couldn’t handle the idea of somebody being stronger than them.
@@Death2all546 TBF, he wasn't mad because Yumellia was stronger, he was mad because "lvl 99" was a so high number everybody thought it was some bullshit act to look interresting at the entrance ceremony, denying all the efforts he did to be lvl 10, wich is already saw as a high number for a first year student. It looked stupid to us because we knew Yumellia was really lvl 99, but for anybody else, thinking she cheated is just natural.

The lvl 10 went at her with the intent of causing physical harm.
The mage continued refusing to accept it after seeing proof. (Probably handling it the best out of the 3)
And the prince immediately jumped to expelling her with no proof besides “it just doesn’t seem possible”. And would still have had her expelled after the magic teacher said she was definitely high level because “maybe she’s just a really high level pretending to be lvl 99”. Which resulted in the black hole demonstration.
Even after this, they spend a while being angry at her just for existing.

Higher lvl achieved so far was some veteran general around lvl 40 something then you see kid claiming to be lvl 99, it make sense they couldnt belive but King was quite reasonable after

though her strongest black magic and sometimes casually said "well, it's just gruesome" she's actually kindhearted.
Loved the ending of this anime, is such a plot twist but if you pay attention you can see it coming.

And in the end the principal got fired while the prince just went back to class. It should have been the other way round, the principal (regardless of what he thinks) cannot go against a prince and it's obvious that this piece of trash was the instigator. The principal should have received a warning and the prince should have been disposed of for abusing his power.
I disagree. Even if he can't outright refuse, he should still have enough authority to delay things until he hears about her results from her teachers. And considering the mental gymnastics he used when he magic teacher did vouch for her, he clearly did this by his own volition and not because he was forced to.

Like most of the isekai villainess mangas
This is actually the standard plot type of the "Reborn as a Noble Villainess from that Otome game/novel I played/read" variant that is more common for female leads, except she isn't engaged to the prince and has her engagement broken off. The setting is based off of an otome RPG, but she's focused entirely on the combat/levels and ignored the relationship paths, other than knowing the endings.

@@whybhavi I love the genre but at this point I hate how distrustful I immediately get towards the OG heroes. They're either horrible people, reincarnated themselves, or are being mind controlled by the plot. There have to be better ways to cause conflict that with the original protagonists at this point.
Which is why I personally love Hamefura, sure it's mostly a cozy slice of life, but there is also genuine conflict that comes from outside the OG heroes being horrible, as they're all quite good people, and it never makes the OG heroes look weaker or incapable for the sake of showing how great the former Villainess is.
Same with Endo and Kobayashi, the plot has pretty much nothing to do with who they were supposed to be in the original, and lets the characters develop on their own in a way that feel natural for them.
Technically the most heretical last boss doesn't do this either, but the make the MC so overly capable with very few weaknesses that it's a bit annoying. They should have focused more on her insecurities in that show, because she does have them, it's just not shown enough to actually impact how perfect she seems.

She reminds me of a custom character compared to the actual characters when playing them ingame lol.

I like how she's unbothered with everything, but I hate how that ends up with her looking a bit like a doormat.
Rather than showing others their place and reminding them why they should not mess with her, she just lets others say and do whatever they want against her, no matter how rude.
Part of her strength (and weakness) as a character comes from the fact that she’s so powerful but doesn’t hold any contempt for others or see the need to “put them in their place”. She ends up forgiving things that other people would see as egregious (eg later in the story her maid tries to poison her which doesn’t work and when she finds out she’s just like “eh, you’re sorry and you were being threatened to do it so water under the bridge” when the maid was expecting to be killed)
She deals with the ones who ordered the maid to poison her, as well as sent assassins after her. She also summons monsters for her classmates to level up, despite the monsters being perhaps more than the classmates want to try to handle.
She'd a complete doormat when it is something she either really doesn't care about, or has convinced herself she doesn't care about. But if it is something or someone she cares about or is passionate about, everyone else might as well get out of her way, because she's doing as she wishes, and there's nothing you can do to stop her.

@@ozzi9816 Isn't that sort of the point of her character? She has a very difficult time connecting to people, because she simply doesn't care, and she doesn't really seem to understand the people around her either. She's kind but very detached.
They could have absolutely leaned into her viewing this as more and more of a problem in her day to day life, because sometimes it does seem to bother her. But for some reason they chose not to.

Yeah, they seem to have a lot of faith in that level check ball. And they've been there the entire time, so they know she can't have swapped it out for one that'd favor her.
And even if she DID somehow manage to trick it, the *sheer fact* that she'd have been able to MAGICALLY TRICK THE DAMNED THING without *ANYBODY NOTICING ANYTHING* should tell them she REALLY is not someone they want to trifle with.
But, people are gonna have their prejudices. In this case, about "central wannabes" and "dark-haired people". Kudos on Yumiella for not really letting it get to her. She knows she's not lying.

There is a lore reason. Its said that the founder king was betrayed by a black mage with black hair and eyes. The said mage wanted to kill the king and take over the kingdom.
But the real story is the exact opposite. It's the founder king who betrayed the mage. The current King knows it. He wants to make amends and prevent another disaster.

After reading comments, people should really try to understand that if everyone good toward MC then where the Drama? If no one act like the "Heroine" and the Prince then what's the point of the story?
welp, it's part of the drama that everyone feels for the MC & shows distaste toward such biased society
The main issue this show had is that it failed to explain why the MC was so much better at leveling up to begin with. She was right, it really seems like, in this world, just kill gradually stronger monsters each time and you'll just inevitably reach 99 or get bored.
There was never anything complex about it.
She lacks a fear of death that holds others back, and was incredibly bored as a girl, had no adult supervision and has an absolute and all consuming love of leveling up. She spent her entire childhood level grinding in a near by dungeon. Add in her twisted common sense and Hidden Boss stats, and thats how she became level 99.
Yes it does. It shows that she played the game this world is based off of constantly in her previous life so she knew the most efficient way to power level. She was also left unsupervised for over a decade so there was no one to stop her. Also, everyone else is so afraid of death that her method is viewed as suicidal and thus impossible.
She had knowledge from her previous life and used a charm to double her exp gain to powerlevel in the dungeon for years before ever even having anyone think to check her stats.
Any normal gamer would also use the don't get kill amulet but she used the 2x xp amulet, basically playing Ironman mode with her life on the line

u will eventually see some high budget animated shows with sh***y plot. so animation doesn't make the story better
@@AnimeKayoOfficial in this clip, it's actually ok but when monsters are present, it realy shows how sloppy it is. when Yumellia get's her dragon, it almost made me quit the show because suddenly a low buget monster has now a similar screentime as the main chars. the story was still great and I'm happy I kept watching, but the CGI is realy something else
