The amount of new home construction near, in and around Homestead is out of control. It has grown so much. Homestead is trying to be in the up and up. Downtown homestead is going through renovations to improve but taxes there are going up. Campbell Dr. is almost like driving Kendall Dr. The amount of congestion and traffic. I guess that's Miami- Dade for you. Where else can you expand. Good video.

Spacious houses, three car garages. Parks all three cars on grass.

@@michaelpicozzi3910 research is nice but ON THE GROUND is the truth when it comes to moving somewhere. If i was looking for a quiet place to retire small town fell, frostproof. Lakeland too much traffic for me!

Real nice modern houses in many parts here, I wonder what would happen if another Cat 5 like Andrew hit here again with 174 mph winds? Also, ever been to the Coral Castle here Jose? It's been featured on shows like In Search Of plus a few others and some interesting books written about it as well.

too many people do tourist spots.. I stay low key and different to stand out. interesting spot, but we dont do mainstream things we like country, hood or other odd things

Homes built prior to Hurricane Andrew were wood frames. After Andrew the building code changed a lot. They are concrete now. My home went through Hurricane Irma without even a roofing tile destroyed. Fence and tress fell but house was fine. Flooding is more of a problem now verses the wind.

Homestead is not considered a good area,it has decent areas such as this one but being so far south and that neighborhoods near it are not good will never make it a desired area, the houses are pretty good but overpriced
