That was excellent. The carve your pet for $480.00 was amazing and also, as you said, 'How did he come up with that price?'. The variety of foods at these kind of events is a fast food snackers dream come true. Also there was a tent set up where you could get those good old tie die shirts made. That brought back memories. So easy to see why these are popular. Which must be why Toronto has so many. I wonder if Montreal, Calgary, or Vancouver does the same kind of things. It helps that Toronto is so crazy multi-ethnic. All the groups plus business districts get to do their own. By the way: Cocktail? Wasn't that a Caribbean story? I mean an inside bar is not regional. But I recall Cruise tending bar at a beach location. (Still haven't figured out that Toronto building in Fubar)

Had to leave for some shopping. But in leaving, I started to wonder if the many Toronto festivals are cheap dates and family outings. My only similar experiences were solo. No family needing to go places. And wife just not interested in most cases.

Good day : How can anyone find out about these type of street festivals before they occur ?
It's very frustrating us . We are from the Mimico Lakeshore area and we are only finding out of this festival June /10/2024 . My wife and I really enjoy these festivals but are so frequently only finding out after they have occurred . How can we find find out of street festivals before they occur ?
Blogto usually has a schedule of all the street festivals on their site each year, I'd search for that.

Is it also the ONLY street festival of 2024?
The city seems to be cutting and cancelling so many of them.
It's the local BIAs that put them on, not the city. Taste of the Danforth is cancelled but that festival was poorly run (not too mention its organizers are crybaby nimbys).
@@JohnnyStrides I'm with you: Good riddance to the Danforth one. I live at Coxwell and Danforth and having to get through that one... It began to look more like a combination yard sale and sidewalk sale of stores that just cleaned out their back rooms of garbage that never sold.

Do West Fest is longer than Taste of the Danforth (distance covered). And there's no Taste of the Danforth this year, it won't be missed much IMO.
It really wasn't bigger and it ain't happening this year.
