Everyone agrees that the Detroit Series 60 was one of the best engines ever made.
Runs forever, cheap to fix, lots of parts availability, lots of places to fix it.
The main complaint was that it didn't have enough power.
The 14.0L was introduced to solve this complaint.
These were only built for a couple of years before the EGR was added on and hp dropped to 515.
This is a pre-EGR engine with 550hp / 1850 lb/ft torque
