He was wrong about one thing. The Jets do not need to draft a receiver. They need to draft a young QB, because when Rogers gets hurt again very early in the season, just like I predicted last season. They will need to start rebuilding with a young QB. They need to do anything and everything to get JJ McCarthy or Penix.

As a Raiders fan, I can tell you with certainty that we are not using a frp on an edge rusher. We have Crosby and Koonce. We have MUCH bigger holes on our roster.
Quinyon Mitchell(CB) is my pick if defense and/or Brian Thomas Jr(WR) if offense unless they like Bowers more but they just draft a TE last year...

I don't think the Raiders will take an edge rusher in the first. Malcom Koonce came on the second half of last year opposite Crosby and there are other glaring needs. I think they take the top corner on their board to solidify the CB room with Jones and Hobbs in the slot. Offensive line is also a strong possibility if the right guy is there.

So when is the bottom going to fall out on WR’s like it did on RB’s? The last Super Bowl champion with a WR as a primary target was the broncos. If you have a WR with a top 10 salary then your as likely to make a SuperBowl as a NBA team making the finals with Uberathletic/slashing point guard on a max contract. SR’s and TE’s as your primary go to receiver is much more valuable according to playoff and Super Bowl team success.

In the first round drafting someone only because you have a hole and he supposedly fits into it is so wrong.
Fill your hole in free agency and in later rounds.
In the first round the two major factors should be BPA and depth of the position.

Zach is lowkey a good scheme fit. One of his strengths is his accuracy when hitting seams, skinny posts, and glance routes off of short 3-step drops. That’s what Sean Payton wants to do. I think Zach is gonna turn his career around with Sean, as long as their personalities match and they draft some good WRs. They probably won’t win the division ever but they might be a wild card team this year or next. Zach will be fine
I agree. He improved alot last year but will have a HC who is offensive-minded. In fact, not a guarantee they will draft a quarterback with that 1st pick and could possibly trade down for more capital because Wilson's growing pains will be learning a new offense and not needing to learn and adjust to the NFL which I think he's developed to this point...

Adonai Mitchell is the right pick for the Jags but I think they trade back IF he were the pick. Brian Thomas Jr looked less than stellar against Terrion Arnold, Kool-aid McKinstry, and Ennis Rakestraw. The 1 TD he scored, against Mizzou, was a busted coverage by the Safety. BTJ is still a project and needs to work through press coverage better. Stats are also skewed for Adonai Mitchell because Texas ran the ball 500+ times last season.
