Im currently finishing off a new Celtic album and also a Dark themed album which will hopefully be out by late October. I hope you’re all keeping safe and healthy.
At heart, I don't get along with the dark side (I'm actually a ghost I inherited from family), but I really enjoyed listening to your songs.
I was already evangelical but I'm not interested at the moment in following a religion.

This is beautiful. We have such powerful folk music around the world but still they feed us garbage to listen. But thank the Universe music like this exists!
I'm a writer and this has been my greatest inspiration, every piece in Peter's albums has served as the building block for a lot of lores in my fantasy stories even other stories and poems as well! I've written several pieces of literature, some of which have been inspired by impactful music like Peter's, and some of those writings of mine revolve around the imagination arisen by Peter's music.
I want to thank you wholeheartedly, Peter, for creating such masterpieces! I've downloaded so many of your songs and listen to them on loop! You're brilliant❤

I am a Irish Viking and for many months I have been looking for a piece like this. I listen to this at least 7 times a day. I finally found something that calls to me thanks to Peter Gundry!!! I decided to listen to the Celtic hour of music and I am super impressed!!! I wanted to speak to this man personally myself if I can!! I have always loved, 'Lady of the Dawn'. The slow, sultry cadence combined with the strong tribal vocals makes for a wonderful blend. It makes me think of a glittering weaponry, with tendrils a dusty sun setting over the weapons. Innumerable glinting before the interruption of hurried usage.

Music becomes something more when you can tap into the roots of what it means to be human. Such a dark, primal and beautiful album Peter, I remember the early versions of Lady of the Dawn and a few others on the album. This music speaks to people in ways other genres can't.

My family listens to music from different regions and different eras when we try recipes from those times and places. Today we were thinking of my Grandfather’s Norwegian heritage and his Norwegian dumplings he taught us all to make. So I took to TH-cam and searched out “traditional Norwegian music” and this album was first in the feed. Cool! My children and I are instant fans too.

Please do more Nordic music. I feel like I'm home hearing all these. You have no idea how special this album has become to me. These pieces of music help me express my feelings better when I'm writing. You are special Peter. I'm glad you exist!
It might offend others due to the stereotype maybe. But when I visited Sweden back in winter of 2019, I was in Malmö, visiting my childhood friend (now significant other) and I played some modern Swedish folk songs on my headphones whenever I would travel around the city. It made my experience a lot more magical and made me fall in love with the country and culture more than I had thought I could. Hearing this just brings back those lovely memories I had visiting multiple times over the span of 12 years, just to visit him and be apart of a culture he's proud of. I hope to someday live there if I can. That is my biggest dream yet.

I'm just starting to listen to this album and I'm already in love. The singing in the very first music is interesting, it reminds me of singing from my region (eveb though the music itself sounds much different from anything from my culture).

We have that style of singing in our traditional music called Chaabi, you know, that singing with a lot of riffs and no words, just a vowel like A or E going on for an extended period of time. Most times, in the beginning of a song, the singer will sing just a few phrases (or sometimes part of the song) which they will extend a lot and put a lot (like a lot) of riffs in, then they finish it of with a long sound (and more riffs!). Then the instruments which would be either absent or very low volume before would kick in and play for again a good amount of time before the singer starts singing again 😊
