However, they still failed to do so because of foreign pressure.. they killed 1200+ people including students, and 4 to 16-year school-going kids who have nothing to do with this chaos.. our media have not shown any of this in their channels because some were threatened. After getting power in 2009, Sheikh Hasina's govt has done very little development works at Dhaka city only but these were actually organic and natural development of a country, but 1. She destroyed the democratic system, election commission of this country. As a result there were no free and fair elections. She killed our democratic rights and democratic aspirations. Her govt was in power for 4 consecutive terms, without being elected from free and fair elections. This young generation, the protesters were not able to vote. 2. During ger terms, billions of dollars were snuggled by her people, her family members etc. She and her son is convicted in the USA. 7. Creted a goons like student wing. 1. She destroyed the democratic system, election commission of this country. As a result there were no free and fair elections. She killed our democratic rights and democratic aspirations. Her govt was in power for 4 consecutive terms, without being elected from free and fair elections. This young generation, the protesters were not able to vote.
2. Her govt systematically killed more than 40k opposition parry members. So many people are missing, extra judicial killing, crossfires etc.
3. There was no actual freedom of speech. They were just tagging anti-national if you do a simple criticism of any policy, activity etc. of that govt. General people were very angry for these type of tagging.
4. Her govt systematically looted our stock market, banking system and almost destroyed it.
5. Her govt. destroyed all constitutional institutions by doing nasty politics, hiring her own peoples with no competency.

1. How did India get 50% owner of Rampal 1350 MW thermal power land? Land, infrastructure, pollution, etc belong to Bangladesh. Bangladesh borrowed money from India for this project (probably 50%). However, the agreement is advantageous for India in terms of raw material supply, labor and high interest costs. How does India own 50% of this power plant?
2. Bangladesh Awami signed a 25-year power consumption contract worth about '$75 billion' with India's Adani Group!!! Bangladesh also has to pay capacity usage fees amounting to $11 billion even during off demand!! The corrupt Awami government made this deal without the knowledge of the people of Bangladesh. Even now, they have not released the full agreement publicly.
3. Recently , the people of Bangladesh rejected the Awami corrupt government in the 12th election in 2024. The actual voter turnout was around 2%, referenced by DW.
