I come back to this recipe every time I cook Samp. It's a simple, straight-forward, an easy to follow, no-fail recipe. And the results are amazing every time.
Thank you Queen. Easter Sunday breakfast in Brisbane Australia. Just introduced it to my husband and children. Reminds me of high school days in East London. We all loved it! God bless!
In Nigeria yoruba land especially ibadan people call it Eegbo serve with stew with lemon fish meat. I love it so much. Its also serve in moimoi leave. It really make sense
Thanx hey? I normally add rama, Aromat and cremora only. When I want a nice colour, I grate carrots and add them last. I'll definitely try your recipe too. What's the purpose of those bay leaves?
i am from South Africa. A curry leave is smaller than the one used in this video. It would totally mess up the taste of the samp. The leaf in the video is called Bay leaves....
God, it's Tammy again. Do you just go from samp video to samp video complaining and spreading misinformation? They're curry leaves. Yes, they look like bay leaves. That's because in South Africa - you know, the country where this recipe actually comes from - they're harvested much larger than they are in India and Sri Lanka, and then they're freeze dried, and then they're sold in clear plastic bottles as (surprise) freeze-dried curry leaves. Head on over to woolworths dot co dot za, type in 'curry leaves' and look at the first result.
@@GavinTheEnchantedHunchback well I am from south Africa and we have ours very much smaller than those you have. A bay leaf here in SA looks like your curry leaf. And by the way...I was looking for a damp recipe. The taste to a bay leaf and a curry leaf are worls apart so I don't find myself petty for questioning it! After all I wanted to cook it and that's why I looked for one! There is no need to loose your cool about a curry leaf!

Or beans stew.

Maize, mealies, corn I don't know what you call it. The skin of the corn is peeled of then this is smaller pieces
