Hi Rotten Rebel, Love your videos, they've really helped me pick fragrances over the years. I need your advice-I'm torn between Scandal Le Parfum, Spicebomb Extreme, or any other suggestions. I already have Jean Paul Le Male Le Parfum EDP, Sauvage Elixir, and Spicebomb(OG), which get me compliments. I’m looking for something bold, long-lasting, and perfect for nights out-dates or clubs. Something that i can keep in my collection. What would you recommend?
I would go with edt just because it is easier to find in the US, just like le beau parfum, the scandal parfum is almost impossible to find in US stores.
I blind bought the edp because I liked the edt but thought it was a tad too sweet. Turns out I like the edt better because it's more interesting and complex, whereas the edp is more traditionally masculine with geranium making his present much felt.
The parfum is a very underrated fragrance it so subtle in its approach that it just says hey I'm here like a whisper and then you will come to realise that there's something very mysterious about this scent,to me it's a classic fragrance which just says relax everything fine I have got you.
The biggest scandal is my bank balance after the Black Friday and pre-Christmas sales. 😬😬😬 I have the OG and have sampled the new flanker just the once but I'm in no rush to purchase. SOTD is TF Tobacco Vanille.

I would need a top 15, and in no particular order to include, the 3 new fragrances from Zaharoff ZedCreators2.0, namely 2nd Soul, Evening Mystique and Of the Immortals; ATH Tabac and Daddy; Daniel Josier Ambre Tabac; Andy Tauer Sundowner; Penhaligon’s Halfeti Cedar; Xerjoff Torino21, Toni Iommi and Alexandria II; Soma Parfums Halycon; Essential Parfums Divine Vanille; Guerlain Bois Mysterieux.
The original scandal seems to keep outperforming the EDP, even though that sounds like it shouldnt being an EDP. The EDP has something in it, which i cant identify, but as i continue to smell both on different wrists, the original smells better, like something has a strong error in it - possibly my lack of understanding of the actual ingredients. but again this is why you must put it on your OWN SKIN AND LEAVE IT FOR TWO HOURS MINIMUM...all skin oils are dofferentand will produce slightly different scents... I really wanted the EDP to be longer lasting and better, but it hasnt been. I can see why some could say the EDP is more classy, and i f i wore a suit perhaps id stick top the EDP, but, i mean, you just couldnt go without the original. thanks for the video.
Once I get past the annoying, sickly sweet opening of the edt, it gets really hard for me to pick one. Sure, the edp is more masculine, but the edt smells both smoother and more layered and interesting. Performance shouldn't be a parameter to consider, as both have excellent performance.
I’m new to the world of fragrance reviews on TH-cam, and I want to make clear, I am not just singling this channel out, but why is it the you can talk about fragrances for in some cases up to 15 to 20 minutes and not once mention the PERFORMANCE of the scent! It’s the most frustrating part of most of the reviewer’s. I’m spending anywhere from $200 - $450 for a product that might only last a couple of hours.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback! I sometimes forget about it, but I usually mention the performance if it's quite bad or if it's "beast mode". As for my comparisons, they are primarily focused on which scent we enjoy the most. I've started to include my thoughts on performance more often in newer comparison videos 😊 Appreciate the feedback!
Can someone please recommend to me other fragrances that have the same beast mode performance and projection as the scandal? That’s what I loved the most about my edt scandal it lasts all day I even can smell it on my skin the next day.
Try stronger with you absolutely. Beast mode projection and excellent longevity and still on the sweeter side. If you want something less sweet, more mature but still beast mode give sauvage elixir a chance..

I agree. Both Scandal and Scandal Le Parfum are great scents. Le Parfum is just so damn good and another great release from Jean Paul Gaultier 🤩

How's the projection? Does Le Parfum project farther than the original EDT? And how far do they project, how many meters?
