Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. Really helpful video! You explained it in such an easy way!

Glad to help out! I have learned a good bit more on ways to mess with the PLC modules and make it easier for the user. I try and keep it easy to keep it interesting instead of over complicating it.

Can we put any no. Of points that we need?

Yes, you just need to set it up in your setting to match the # of points you require. I have used up to 64 points before but you can go higher. Not sure there is a cap. It may be easier to do your text editing in the MDB after you create the module.

Colby, I noticed in your video that under Discrete Input modules that the 1492-IFM's are listed. Are these downloadable or did you build them yourself?

@@colbyhandley3150 (sad face) In this video, does the same technique to building IFM's? I am very new to Autocad Electrical but have been designing control panels for years.

Right! Yes, so with IFM your going from module to IFM module with a cable right. So build you a block for your IFM part number and put it right beside your module and connect with a cable. Then your schematic off of the IFM.

Use the PLC Database File editor and you can build anything you need. You can use access which is where all that information pull from and build it that way as well. I like this method.
