The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. No one has mentioned the obvious lament : Leyla CAME BACK !!! AND THEN SOME TO MAKE IT 4 GAMES TO 3 IN THE THIRD BY WINNING 4 CONSECUTIVE GAMES !!!!!?????!! How do you lose that with her SPEED and STAMINA !?! how ? 😮😢😮

In high pressure situations, taking the ball super early can lead to mistakes. She handled it for a while but it's just a riskier strategy

I mean this was a fantastic match and Alexandrova played very well overall. I do think she needs a new coach but this loss wasn't too bad

it's disgusting to me that players are wearing the names of corporations on their clothing.

I can not understand why u would be bothered by that !?! Corporate sponsorship of whole leagues as well as individual events and athletes are what makes the world of professional sports 'go round' . Sports and athletes rely on BACKERS and the 'backers' want a piece of the attention STARS generate !

I believe there is a limit as to how many and how big the lettering of the 'logos'.

As long as they pay exactly for that !!! And players are not forced to wear a "certain" outfit !!! They earn some nice money doing nothing : only by wearing expensive clothes that are given to them for free - sorry not "for free" - they are PAID to wear those ! And working class has to buy those clothes to have them !

@@OHW313 I think you might be missing the point a little bit. There is no denying what you said is true, however it has come to light over the past 3 to 4 years that corporate interests not only control pro sports but that they also control 99percent of politicians in all countries. Peoples voices no longer matter. Health, Military, social and economic Policies are set by corporate interests....and that is what is truly disgusting. Our "leaders" should be forced to wear the sponsorship logos on their clothing that the athletes do in the interest of transparency. People don't yet realize this takeover happened some time ago. It is a stark realization.
