Bhavya Mangla San : Is it mandatory to have a "IATF internal auditor certification" to conduct a supplier audit? And if not, then how can I identify, implement and maintain the competency of the personnel, who wish to do the supplier audit.?
Dear Utkarsh, thanks for asking the question. No. There is no such requirement. Although, if you look at the Standard requirement, qualified internal auditor meets almost all the requirements for conducting 2nd party audit except sector specific knowledge like Steel, Coating, Rubber, Electronic etc.
