Fun fact: Vanir actually is a part of demon dukes on underworld and basically is comparable to primordial demons on tensura manga in term of their role/position on the story
So then that part about him being stronger than the demon king wasn't just him exaggerating? How would the demon king rank in tensura terms?

@@silverhunter4136 Demon King isn't all that powerful in terms of pure combat strength. A handful of high level Crimson Demons could probably take him down if he was alone. Vanir could probably solo the Demon King, all generals and his entire army at the same time, although maybe at the cost of a couple lives.
@@silverhunter4136 Demon King isn't that strong without the barrier blocking the castle (which can be dispelled by Aqua or torn through by multiple Megumin's explosion), and his ability to boost his ally.
In fact, in a 1v1, he lost to Kazuma's explosion.

Well actually Vanir's true identity is a demon noble from hell, if I'm not mistaken he is a duke from hell
The demon king power is mainly to amplify the strength of his army. But iirc he also have plenty cheat skills that would make him nigh invulnerable too, so i guess Vanir has higher offensive power was what they're refering to
I think I read some that the demon king is actually really weak? He’s just another dude, isn't actually evil and is just trying to run his nation. But Aqua’s religion keeps demonizing them and causing them trouble
