About your drawings looking similar, maybe try rotating the paper as you draw? Well, not *as you draw*, but, you know... draw a bit, turn the paper, keep drawing... =P That will change the direction you tend to go for. It's just an idea =)
lazycat66 that's not his style, its literally just doodles, no plan. Just go for it, free flow, everybody has there own drawing style, its like asking an anime artist to draw realistic.. or a death metal band, to flip over night to singing pop and vice versa... it don't work that way.

Peter, I honestly don't understand why you don't color more often. Your drawings (especially the art style in the second one) would make for awesome coloring books! Keep up the great work btw!
Maja he does make coloring books.... one I think is called "color me crazy" And he has mentioned before, its not that he doesn't like coloring, he likes the lines, the crisp solid lines, he likes making the picture for others to color in.

You weren't kidding about the shapes being similar lol but I think it may be that the basic shape is appealing to the eye as it doesn't leave too much empty space while still keeping the piece from becoming too cluttered on the page. Love them both! And talk about some serious talent with that painting!
