My take on the events that transpired: >Usual TF2 game >RED Heavy attempts to be friendly with RED and BLU throughout game >RED takes kindly to Heavy's gestures while BLU instead resorted to relentlessly kill Heavy any chance they got which would slowly draw out their sadism resulting in them to now torture him before killing him >BLU gets the upper edge in the game >Instead of immediately winning they instead restrain all the RED mercs in a room >Here Heavy was sadistically tortured first having his fingers broken and multiple knives shoved into his back as his helpless friends watched >BLU then decides to execute all of Heavy's friends at once and bust their respawn machine so his friends will never return >Heavy frantically begs BLU to spare his friends as BLU smashes the machine >RED Heavy falls limp with defeat, BLU decides to morbidly hang his dismembered friends' torsos and limbs around him >A satisfied BLU team wins and leaves the server, leaving a defeated Heavy behind >Heavy surrounded by his now maimed friends who he will never see again is consumed with grief and rage >Hoovydundy is born
Surprisingly the story behind the red heavy is quite tragic, through out of part 1 & 2. This Hoovydundy entity only attacks the blue team through out after red scout was murdered by the other team.
This honestly does line up to what seems to be the case for Hoovydundy's backstory and it basically explains why he has it out for the Blu Team and not for the Red Team. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Blu Spy for the current Blu team was also part of the Blu Team that tormented Hoovydundy in the first place thus showing further why he was against killing Red Scout who was being friendly in the first place well as friendly as a Scout can get because he knew firsthand how both unethical and dangerous it is to kill friendlies.
0:40 The fact that the enemy BLU team that abused the friendly red heavy by hanging his friends from ropes are probably more monstrous than Hoovydundy is. Like that's not even tryhard anymore, that's just chaoticly evil.

Through pain of his life he wanted to try to make peace with everyone only to have his fate losing his friends and turning him to what was once a friendly heavy to a being that can not be stopped

I myself have been working on hoovy's origin story. I already more or less done a whole plot it's just finding the time and motivation to get on with it.
I thought the orgin completely different. Now I know. It completely make sense of how he got the abilities. But for the freak transformation. I thought he was cursed by a devil or some sort. Guess I was wrong. 🤷♂️
Cause of the glowing red light and spy knives in his back that when u dislodge them, makes him stronger somehow, but cant be touched cause its like a 1000 degree knife.
Ok I guess that's fair but I think spy would be better if it was not heavy and was spy invisibility and transformation into anyone you want would be useful with teleportation it does not explain knives in its back tho
dude this is a good theory but if you finish a little more then there will be a plot such that he is heavy he became a monster the blue team does not understand what is happening they started attacking him but he is immortal
And that's why he has a lot of knives on his back, he killed a lot of blue teams, there is probably another theory that in the original series it is still said that the red team and the blue team hit the cursed server.
