Dr., Nigerians' dreams of change, but their souls are not willing to direct their body to tune to the change they wish for. Even if you wish to enforce the best practices that will emancipated them for a better Nigeria, they will fight you. That was what play out in Yahaya Bello's case, and many others. Thank you, your wisdom will continue to stand out.

Thanks so much for this message.
I saw recently where one top politician who defected recently to APC was blaming the governor for not carrying them along ( sharing the state money to them ).
The reason for his defection was not that the governor his not delivering good governance to the people but his own benefits.
What amazed me most was that the people were clapping for him.
We need more of your type of Education to open the eyes of our people.
    Thanks so much.

It was the home of Rochas that they broke into, same way they break into the homes of young people. The former governor of Anambra was arrested and released through the back door and he ran to America. Nigeria is a mystery.

Words of wisdom are only seen on the lips of elders. Dr. Charles Apoki has proven to be an Elder statesman over the years. If all Nigerians 🇳🇬 can listen continuously to these precious words of wisdom, then achieving citizenship will take less effort.
Thank you Dr. Charles Apoki, and may God continue to bless and uphold you. 👏👏👏

Dear Friend, You have said it all. It is extremely painful that we live in a country such as this. For us older folks, we tasted some measure of good governance. But I cry daily for the young people. Again to Greek philosophy, Socrates said 'A country is what it is because the people are what they are'. Friend, thank you for not giving up. We will not stop talking until there is some measure of human face in our dear country.

"The more citizens a country have, the more the development"......that quote really hit me hard........
I am a resident in Canada, and you can literally feel that here. The people are citizens. They know their right, it informs their behavior, no deferring to authority or to one big man. Completely opposite in Nigeria.
Look at that excerpt in that USA constitution.
"We hold these truth to be self evident that all men are created equally and all are endowed by the creator with certain in alienable rights and among these rights are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"....

As long as Nigeria exists, it will never be good. The earlier Nigerians understand it the better for everyone. It is difficult to punish politicians because of Nigeria's multiethnic nature. In Biafra, Ojukwu executed traitors and no one cared because they were traitors. In Nigeria, it wouldn't have been possible because 8:52 people are ethnic conscious and wants the President to start from himself and his tribesmen because everyone is corrupt

Leaders are from among the people. The solution is to participate in politics, government leadership and change things from within with a better mindset. All these issues have been going since the country gained independence, it’s just getting worse. Remember Umaru Dikko, Victor Masi, Tafa Balogun & many others like them.

Infact the greek democracy from inception is that a society be educated in the affairs of the state to be a worthy citizens, the opposite of those not interested or ignorant are called idiotes(idiots).
In sparta, its not enough to be born , you have to earn your citizenship by military training or good standing in society.
