- Join us for the opening day of Universal Mardi Gras 2024! We bring you along to do the best things and kick off the party right! We try delicious food and drinks from the International Flavors of Carnaval, enjoy partying with parade characters, tour the brand new Mardi Gras 2024 Tribute Store, a gorgeous themed Riverboat experience, enjoy the FULL PARADE, with brand new floats featuring the elements like fire, air and the sun and moon, and enjoy a bit of the concert too! We show you how things work this year as there are a few changes and updates, and have a great time dancing, catching beads and eating great food! Thanks for hanging out and let the good times roll!

Also, as a native Brazilian, I must say: I've never really cared about our Carnaval, but boy did we have fun yesterday at Mardi Gras !!!!! So much better than our Brazilian event! We didn't get to try any of the foods, but now watching you guys eat, made me want to try them all 😂

I just woke up and there you were with the video but I must. wait for my daughter so we can watch together! I’ll be in Orlando (coming from California) this Tuesday! The time has finally come! Going to universal probably next week for one day! Love Mardi Gras!
Btw Jackie my daughter had to get the DAS pass but it’s different through universal now (they changed it) you can’t just walk up to that guest service window and get one, one must go through the IBCCES which is International. Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards then you have to fill out the forms and up loud photo and doctors note. Then they immediately issued my daughter a photo card that we must bring to the guest service window in order to be issued the pass.
It’s quite the process and the website is very glitchy and it took many times for me to get through the end of it so I thought it was just something worth talking about for the disabled guests that may be wanting to go to Universal and that there may be some people that are subbed to you that will need to go through this process maybe researching this and talking about it here might help them. It’s quite the process and nothing like Disneys for a das pass.
And I really feel sorry for people who just show up at Universal without this paperwork because now they will not be able just to walk up to a window and get a pass. It’s extremely important that they do this first.
Anyway, I haven’t heard any of the vloggers mention this new process on their channel yet and I know that your channel was very informational more than others so I thought perhaps maybe one day you might want to cover it of course totally up to you, but I do think it would be very helpful for others that are disabled .
