If anyone questions why having professional installers doing the work is expensive, just show them a couple of your videos. It takes a lot of work to do the job correctly. Another great learning moment, thanks guys.

It was real cool seeing Nando starting the vid. 👍
Initially thought it was going to be a total solo vid with Dean currently out in Austria...

Hi, I hope you can solve my problem instaling the Kenwood stereo in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK. I purchased the folllowing items. 1. Kenwood DNR476S Stereo 2. Maestro RR2 Radio Replacement Interface 3. Maestro HRCH1 (HRN-HRR-CH1) installation Harness 4. Maestro KEN1 T-Harness to Kenwood Radio Adapter 5. CRUX MG-3 Rear-view Camera integration (for factory analog camera). All these are plug and play kits. I flashed the Maestro RR2 as per the instructions. After the installation I notice there is a power to RR2 interface with 2 green flashes in the begining of powering process for first few seconds, but no green flashes after that (I'm not sure that's normal). However I noticed there is power (noticed in yellow wire) till the KEN-1 T-Harness connector to the radio. My problem is the Radio is not switching on. I checked all the fuses and they are good. Please find me the solution. Thank you. PUBBY.

    Great video !
I want to replace the cigarette lighter socket with hdmi / usb c sockets too.
What do I do with the old cigarette lighter power and ground cables ? Do I just wrap black electrical tape around them and then tucked them somewhere?

Yeah I used the usb adapter to try to retain the port in the arm rest. Android Auto comes on, but in 10 seconds or somewhere around there, it stops. It acts just as if I unplugged it, and the head unit goes back to the radio/home screen. I plugged my phone right into the head unit and bypassed the adapter and everything just to see if it'll work, and it does. Is there a way to fix this? Or am I just out of luck.

Good video guys. I have two question I hope you don't mind answering:
    1. What is the HDMI/USB/CBL product you are using? I found one but it is not USB-C. Do they make a USB-C + HDMI combo like that? Or just USB-A only?
    2. Where exactly are you mounting the microphone? It was kind of dark in that scene and I couldn't really tell

Hey guys I’m currently in the process of doing this as well in my lancer evo. The car came with factory rocksford amp and I wanted to put in my pioneer 2300nex so I bought the idatalink maestro and t harness that suppose to go with the Rockford factory amp and to keep sw controls. I also wanted to put in a reverse camera since I’m going to this as well. I flashed the the module but I noticed that when I was setting up my harness that comes with I datalink it has a yellow rca that says reverse camera that suppose to hook up to the purple trigger wire. What I’m confused is what do I do with the yellow rca end of the one that comes with the camera that suppose to be plugged in the head unit? Which one rca end is the one that needs to plug in so I can use the camera?

What is the brand of the tool to change the wires from a plug, what you call your repining? I live in the Netherlands and I can’t find a tool for that.

So, If I make a T harness and use speed wire and keep the Subaru 11.2" pad that has stereo, etc. in it, then do I need Maestro equipment?

I know it's normal,, but the sound of panel clips popping, always sounds so horrible to me. Maybe it's just lingering trauma from my younger days, when I've broken clips.

Nice Job Guys! I was wondering how your business it’s gonna be afectes now that the car industry it’s going full electric. I don’t know if you have a video talking about this topic or if you have talked about this on any of your live streamings… I would like to know a little more about this… take care guys!

This is why they stay on top of OEM integration products. The manufacturers who are ignoring this trend, won't be in the game in 10 years.

I have a question...I installed the same setup in my jk about a month ago. When i turn on the lights during the day the radio goes into dim mode, but does not go into dim mode at night. Do I have something reversed?
