I’m running my first ever 10K ( Leicester) on Sunday at 66 years old - looking to just get around without a walk and maybe get under 1.15. I’m not actually sure why but I find your videos inspirational. I particularly love the ones where you take us around with you and commentate on the race - usually with your mate on rollerblades - awesome. Keep it up! 🎯

Great Race Footage here Nick. i saw you at weaving at the start to get to the front. i bagged myelf a PB of 44:19 which i was buzzing about. took over 90 secs off my previous one
@@justalilbester Definitely not going back for a gel! In my faster running days in the 1970s and 80s gels weren't a thing. Many including me ran marathons only drinking a little water and nothing else!
Would love to come to Battersea but the London Landmarks Half Marathon is on April 7th! Will still be flying through the streets of London though, and channeling your speed 🏃♂️💪
Always amazes me how some people say they're going for a pb and then film the whole thing 🤦 as you say, it takes effort and concentration to film, great performance as always though 💪
I can sympathise with you Nick, as I suffer Raynaud's disease as well ! It put me off skiing. I must invest in some heating gloves sometime ! I would certainly go back and pick the camera up, I'm surprised it still worked ! 😅
Another Raynaud's sufferer here. Lose all dexterity in my fingers. And the colour! I would like to try skiing but worry about the cold also. This winter hasn't been as brutal for me as the one of 2022/23 (I live in the UK). Middle of last year I discovered I had iron deficiency anaemia which I've now addressed. I think that could've helped, or maybe it's just not been as cold.
