I can’t remember who posted it on Twitter, but I saw somebody say for the all too well short film that Sadie was wearing a purity ring up until the point her and Dylan were in bed. Meaning Jake took more than just the scarf! Which makes it even more sad and disheartening.
I thought I saw that too then I went back and looked and couldn’t see it. She does wear various rings but I didn’t notice one on the ring finger but who knows. Still sad either way

She does say towards the end that the scarf is a reminder of innocence or something like that which to me implied she was “innocent” prior to their relationship and how he kept it .
I actually saw a comment on the music video saying that the tea party with the kids is showing how infantalised she was and also the groom approaching with a weirded out look is him wanting to stop her from acting childish infront of others but also wanting to joing her carefree young energy at the same time. The fact that she has also said : "he doesn't like when i wear high heels" leads me to believe he only enjoyed that part of her in private and for himself and wanted her to be more polished and sophisticated in front of his friends.
Also when she’s pretending to be the best man in the speech, she’s acting like an obnoxious drunk guy, and wearing a suit. Kind of reminds me of “The Man.”

One thing that I have been thinking about is how many roses were in this thing. Like on her shoulders near the cake, and on her dress when she's hanging out at the kids table. Remember when the fandom was convinced the next album was going to be called roses... but then it was 1989!

Being a fan of Taylor is a magical experience. She could post a photo of a paperclip and a thousand theories would come up and connect to some significance. No other artist has Easter eggs like her (that I know of).

I feel like I’m the only one making a connection between the IBYTAM video and Sad Beautiful Tragic, which has a lyric “you have your demons… and they all look like me.” The groom is manifesting her at the wedding: in guests, his best man, the band, a cocktail waitress, etc.
During the wedding dance, Taylor does a twirl just like in the All Too Well music video. The spotlight changes from a circle to a rectangle, and looks like they are “dancing in the refrigerator light”. Just another reference to All Too Well!
I thought the same thing! also, it reminded me of Blank Space when she sings "darling I'm a nightmare dressing like a daydream" and Miller's expression looks like he's daydreaming. Red = love him hate him relationship with Jake, 3. Treacherous = won't stop till it's over and I no longer have feelings for Jake, 4. I knew you were trouble - first impression - red flags and chaotic relationship, 5. All Too well is pretty self explanatory except people's perception of the timelines...ALL this just didn't happen within 3 months..... 6. 22 - she was still dating Jake in Secret.... 7. I Almost do - self explanatory but this was in 2011.... 8. We are never getting back together implying during 2011 still dating.... 9. Stay Stay Stay - she wants the relationship to continue even though it's not perfect, 10. The Last time = put me first, 11. Holy Ground is her meeting up with Jake in New York and his apartment is Holy Ground, private sanctuary. 12. Sad Beautiful Tragic is her remembering her and Jake in NY. 13. The Lucky one is a song to Jake saying you're lucky the press isn't following your every move any more now that we are not together but they are still following me. 14. Everything has changed meaning she's moving on, but Jake is still her Twin Flame. If they had only grown up together they would have gotten it right and no one would interfere and ruin it. 15. Starlight - dinner and dancing with the Kennedys and beginning to dream again. 16. It begins again going on a date with Connor. Final Theory - they dated on and off "for 16 months not three months). "The One" is also about Jake. on some new shit is Anti depressants and I'm trying to get out more and live, the greatest love of all time is over now meaning she's completely over him but she remembers and thinks what if she did one thing differently would it be different today.... Also in the All too Well short film there is a picture of Jake with his glasses on on the wall. There's no way this relationship was three months and he gets a picture on Momma Swifts wall that fast.....

The beginning scene with the stained glass around Miles’s characters head looks like a halo. However, halos are usually gold. In her song daylight, she sings “I once believed love could be burning red, but it’s golden” which kinda shows that miles’ character was the wrong guy for Taylor.
I have a feeling that if the Easter egg or the two lines on the cake is about being on Ed’s album, it means Blake is involved too bc T does nothing by accident, and she wouldn’t put that moment with Blake’s name if there wasn’t a reason. I think it’s a double meaning - the equals sign (Ed’s album) and that Blake is directing two videos. That, or Blake is in the video for the joker song. But I think it means she’s directing it.

Kind of makes sense for Blake and Ryan and their personalities too. I think it would be really cool if they played the "Joker and the queen" in a remix video. Ed is pretty well known for not liking to be in his own videos and a super romantic video between Ed and Taylor would be kind of weird. Maybe just wishful thinking though.

10:37 Aaron Dessner from The National appears right at the mark where she sings: "At your cool indie music concerts every week". I read somewhere that this was because Jake was a huge fan of the National which is a Brooklyn-based indie rock band.
She hinted 1989 in her RedTV Jimmy Fallon interview. Was talking about how she leaves Easter eggs for fans and makes some allusions to Wonderland. Because it was in a discussion about Easter eggs and hints, and because it was two comments not just a single stand alone one, I think it was intentional.
I could be completely wrong, but when Taylor is in the flight attendant outfit serving champagne it was very reminiscent of Britney Spear’s first scene in Toxic on the plane. Maybe a nod to Britney for being free of her conservatorship?? Possibly?

I think all of these intertwined elements in the music video just serve to show that to still "think" about someone is a magical haunting thing that is a lot more than just having some thoughts about the person in the form of a few sentences appearing in your mind only every now and then...

Thank you soo much for all those amazing details! Here's a few things (incl. some possible references) I stumbled across: The entrance shot felt very tongue in cheek to me with the somewhat church-like wooden decorations in the back (in contrast the the bathroom aesthetic) and the round lit window that is arranged around his head like a halo while the lyrics suggest he were no saint. There's also this brief appearance of Taylor in the mirror spooking him (as if he'd called 'Bloody Mary' thrice) suggesting he had already a distorted perception thus teasing the clips ending. The "Style" aesthetic can not only be found in the blinding light in the wedding dress scene (where she also stops in one of the music video's opening poses; the touching heads as they are dancing reflecting it too) but also in the watery bowl which she fills with red color (and later the floating flower image). The 'penetration' of the cherry she puts in a drink could possibly be interpreted as sarcastic hit along the lines of the lost-virginity-metaphor you presented for the scarf. The red velvet cake 'covered' under the white icing is also something to investigate. The then following close up which seems to pull two registers ('devil may care' and 'oops') gave me a "Blank Space" and "Shake it Off" attitude. The wedding speech outfit and hairstyle fit the "Me!" music video - albeit not being in pastel. (This moment somehow also feels to be in the spirit of the Mad Hatter - but this might be a stretch.) Her flowery hairband and dress seem to match the style of the girls at the table and with the apple and the juice boxes this seemed to allude to the round of girls in fancy dresses having lunch without another girl in the video for "Mean". The coloring of white roses into red ones or cutting them off is also a clear Alice in Wonderland reference. His at first white pocket square is finally red, too. And last but not least - it's five red outfits, isn't it?

He was laughing at the groomsmen jokes until he noticed it was her then he stopped laughing (because he never laughed at her jokes) and the dance sense is the same sense in the short where their dancing in the refrigerator light .

Great video, also loving the hoodie. I’m leaning towards 1989, but the thought crossed my mind that maybe she’ll release both albums at the same time, or within a short period of time.
My personal theory is that it was supposed to be Speak Now but she noticed that the fans really wanted 1989 so she's going to release 1989 first.
Where I got this:
1. In her Jimmy Fallon interview, she gave Speak Now clues but then said she sees what her fans want
2. In terms of the cake, it's a 1989 cake. She ate it but threw a chunk to her back. The chunk of cake was purple ( Speak Now)
Also, I think 1989 would be a surprise album.
How I found this out:
1. Jimmy surprisingly opened the Red Vinyl then closed it immediately which they acted "surprised".
2. In this video, the Blank Space Apple was shown in the juice box (jukebox) get it? Haha but then it was hidden in the next shot

I’m torn because right when I think 1989 is coming then I think speak now is next. But, I definitely lean more towards 1989. Easter egg and cool things that i found:-
1.The smashing of cake can be a reference to the cake that tay smashed in blank space mv both were red velvet.
2.her holding cherry close to her lips can be a reference to "cherry lips" from blank space (i might be exaggerating LOL)
3.her showing magic tricks to the kids can be another lyric reference from blank space mv -"Magic,madness ,heaven..."
3.The credit scene in the last says "we do impossible things" can be a reference of starlight from red tv.
4.Her hairstyle during the wedding dance scene is similar to "style" opening scene.

- I think her scene with the kids is a reference to how *u know who* treated her like a kid and sees her like one.
- there's the scene where taylor and miles were sitting on the floor and you'll see that the bottom of his shoes are red and when taylor walks out wearing the wedding dress, she's wearing red shoes. I think that the color red represents that one thing that they had in common; how they "connected" idk what to call it lol
