What a day you had! Good thing you were able to get in your house. Love how you decided you need a blanket like the one Roseanne had on her couch. Love shows that put us in a good mood like that. Can’t wait to see what you make with the new posh yarn. I love the yarn. I first started off making peeps with some of the bright colors. Also made some turtles and a bunny.
I was making some bees yesterday with the posh. It sews so nice and no fluff everywhere.

Hello Queen, Happy 2024! I have a suggestion (more of a request) First I would like to say. I enjoy watching your content. Now would like for you to put a 2024 challenge out for all you crochet's to purchase a large storage container maybe 2 or 3 so you can rotate between crafts. Therefore you won't get bored. 🙂. #2024InventoryStockpile fill the bins up with 1 item you work on as much as possible and record you doing so, go live. Also, please can y'all show you making them from start to finish no time lasp. Some of us would actually enjoying getting the entire experience. Also, I would love for you crafters to make your inventory in every color possible in your stock and them going to the store to purchase what you do not have. Everyone has a favorite color just because you don't like it or it may not sell right away it will. We would like to see you guys offering more mystery bags. Some of us like a mystery 😁. Last thing please stop getting rid of things that you make a mistake on make a basket and call them the unique misfits w/ a note even misfits need love. Stop dropping your price on them you still spent the same amount of time and money etc assembling them. Thank you for reading my suggestions. I hope to see it go into effect. If not, I do understand. I will be sending out to a couple other. Once again thanks in advance and I can't wait to see your newest video. 💜
I am absolutely LOVING the posh yarn. I bumped up my hook to a 5 and I am much happier with the size. This is my new favorite yarn. Definitely much better structure then parfait chunky and no issues frogging it back out. I hope they continue to add more colors. The orange is awesome, I made an orange sherbert ice cream cone and it looks beautiful. The mint color is also beautiful. They are out of the green online and in my stores as well as a few other colors. I will definitely stock up when I can!
The 5.5 mm works well with it too. You are right it does frog well and you don't end up covered with fluff!!
OH my! I haven't had a day like that in a couple years. That Big Twist yarn is fun to work with. I've made a few kitties with it and they are always cute. I have one project that I haven't finished yet using Parfait chunky and just can't bring myself to do any more on it. I really hate that yarn. Looking forward to seeing your finished things in the next video.
The softness of parfait is my favorite but the posh is so far easier to work with.
It is interesting looking at your stitches as it looks different than a sc with the traditional V. I love the pattern it creates.

I’m sorry you had a bad day. I have those sometimes too. Michael’s chenille home slim has a color called terracotta that is in the middle. It’s a nice warm brown like teddy bear.

Robin don’t feel bad about your day. I have one better. I was having a horrible, chaotic day and my last stop was Hobby Lobby. I come out of the store to find my car running and locked. After muttering a few choice words I called a locksmith. She arrived, I paid her $100.00 and as she’s working on opening my drivers door she gets a funny look on her face, walks over and opens the passenger door. I was never locked out. I felt so stupid.
😂😂😂that sounds like something I would do. I was driving and my car just shut down I got out popped the hood called my mechanic he tells me to check the battery cables. I did and nothing happened so he sent a tow truck. She does the same thing and the darn car starts.
Oh, I’m sorry you had such a hectic day. I’m glad that you were able to get your stuff accomplished though!! And hey, it’s always nice to know that if you needed to get back in the window, you can! My Joann’s is very small so of course they won’t carry the Posh, but I have one about 35 minutes away that had them listed in stock. I drove there to check it out and it wasn’t on the floor yet. I had talked to someone on the phone before I left and she said “just let me know when you get here and I get it from the back if it isn’t out yet”. Sure enough, not out! She went to the back and pulled out the roller cart that was stocked. I only ended up buying a few because I wasn’t sure if I would like using it. So far it is nice. I do miss the softness of the Parfait Chunky, but it’s nice that you can easily sew with the Posh! I can’t wait to see what you made with it! See you tomorrow. 🤞🏻
I’m getting a spare key made don’t want to climb in the window again 😂 I do enjoy the softness of the parfait chunky too! So far the benefit I see with the twist is it really hold the shape well. So for those patterns the when finished look questionable in what is this I think it will work well. The wings on the bees won’t be so floppy!

Sometimes it feels like I'm in Canada too, all the issues to get things here. I looked online today and the shipping issue seems to have been fixed.

The little bird you made out of the Posh is really sweet, looks like the Posh is more matte than the Parfait, at least that’s how it appeared on my screen. I'm laughing now, but I wasn't yesterday. I think maybe it was Murphy's law day 😂 But on the bright side I really do like this Posh yarn! It is more matte than premier, and I like that because the color loos uniform. You know how with velvet if you rub it one direction it looks like a lighter color than if you rub it the other direction, it seems like parfait (some of the colors) is doing that lately.
@@KnottingHookCrochet yep, I know what you mean about Parfait, it behaves a bit like velvet sometimes with less stitch definition. I might have to try that Posh yarn, but I recently told myself “no more yarn” until I use up some of what I already have! 😄 Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend 😊💕
Wow you had quite the two day adventure! I'm glad you had such a nice time with your friend 🧡 And I am so jealous you got so many posh - I have 3 large JoAnns yet none had very many colors. One color I wanted was in each store and none of the other colors 😭😭😭 I did laugh about you going through the window. I'm on the second floor so I always lock it with my key to make sure i have it in hand.
I laughed at me going through the window too. I was just happy I could!! 😂It seems the stock issue is a problem every where and that's because all the buzz about it. Once all the hype settles down hopefully that straightens out.

Posh looks thinner, but it's actually more dense than parfait. So you can use the same hook size and they come out basically the same size. Posh isn't as soft or squishy as parfait though, but I think since they are so similar in size, they could be used together. I found that the posh items I made they stood just a little taller, cause the stiches hold more firm. I like posh so far. Texturally I love the soft parfait, but it's not difficult to work the posh, so it's good.
I do like the firmness of posh but the softness of parfait.
Oh my, what a day you had😂. I managed to lock myself out of my house when I crawled out the top story onto the roof to wash the outside of the windows. We lived in an old farmhouse with wooden slider windows. It slid down and shut so here I am waiting on roof for my husband to come back on yard to let me in! Those were the days pre-cellphone. Of course that side of house faced the highway so imagine my embarrassment! Your yarn looks nice, glad to hear your positive review. One question, if you pull on end, does it fray or shred off like the Michael’s yarn? I almost bought their plush yarn yesterday but the shred was really bad.
I did that before I got tired of climbing up and down the ladder painting the trim. I decided to get on the roof to paint when I was done I couldn't make myself step on to the ladder I had to wait for help. I have noy noticed any shredding so far and It holds up quite well when frogged.
I think we are sisters from another mother! I was on barn roof but couldn’t step back on ladder because of fear. They got me off with front end loader of tractor!
May I please ask a question? You mention your button shop….are they what we in UK call badges with pins on the back OR are they actual buttons which are sewn onto clothing or other items?

I can not understand why people are so mean. Your neighbor got your package and never gave it back. It happened to my daughter years ago. I live in Miami in a building . I live in the third floor. My daughter move like 2 buildings down mine. She ordered some jewelry from Etsy. She made a mistake and put my address but apartment 105. She lived also in apartment 105 but another address. Then she was waiting for her things and contacted the Etsy seller. She told her that she had put her old address with the correct apt number. She used to live with me. We went to see my neighbor in apt 105 because I know her. She told me “ no I didn’t get it” I knew she was not telling the true. I told my daughter let it go. People are mean.
I think they probably sold it on Ebay or something. Unless they have the exact same printer that toner was of no use to them.
