Is The Hammershot Now Obsolete? Nerf Trailblazer Unboxing + Review! (4k review)

Is the Hammershot no longer needed? I guess it has been of the shelves for quite some time so it was due for a replacement sometime soon...

So cool that Australia kicked the grey triggers , tbh just waiting for the fps rules to be scrapped so we can get all the good stuff (AF, rival etc). Keep up the good work mate:)

I bought one of these pretty much as soon as they hit shelves and it's refreshing to see Hasbro at least trying to provide a good blaster at a reasonable price for what it is and absolutely ecstatic when I took it apart to find that they didn't freaking glue anything. That said the internals of this blaster while superficially similar to the hammershot have been cheaped out. While I'm sure it could take a stronger spring than the stock one I really doubt it would take much over a 7 or maaaaybe 8 kg hammershot spring before you ran the risk of breaking it. That said all the internal springs are actual metal springs not plastic so that's a plus. Planning on repainting mine since the shell separates very easily but overall a good step back in the right direction for Hasbro but why cheap out on the internals of all things? all they had to do was keep the old hammershot internals as they were but increase the teeth on the cam gear to account for the extra cylinders and it would be perfect.

this is using the same general internals as the hammerstorm rather than the hammershot for whatever reason
