This is a remastered version of the series I did last fall. There are new scenes and footage, improvements to color and audio. You should be able to see and understand much more of what is going on with this one, in addition I turn the 3 part series into one movie. The pacing should be much better as well. I should have some new videos soon 😅 still need the snow to melt here!
My husband and I found your channel this morning and watched this episode as we drank our coffee. What a way to start the day! We really enjoyed it. We’re across the mountains from you over here in NW Wyoming and we too have a channel with 2 other couples chronicling our adventure in the mountains only in our Jeeps. Keep up the good work and so happy to see you’re using this platform as a means of testimony for the Lord!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great video. Before my wife started riding with me, she used to ask how I could be so tired when all I was doing was "putting" around on my motorcycle. 🤣
Thanks for the vid. A friend and I used to do this on the daily when we were young teens. Alot of things went right for y’all, had it rained you’d have been caught in flash floods… always make sure you have a saw!
I thought so too. Especially that part where the narration said something like, "We're stuck here in the wilderness" right as you see a car going by, and they're only a few hundred feet away from a paved road.
Sorry for second reply .. but "40 times around" did a similar one a couple years ago. These two guys just ran into each other on a BDR. They would vacillate between extremes, saying there was a cougar following them day after day, worried that there were no people around, then going to town and complaining about all the people there. It was quite the hoot.
Great documentation of your experience and may we all take it as a warning at how quickly things can go bad. I've run into some pretty hairy situations but thankfully made it out as well. I usually ride alone so to imagine running down that trail alone, all loaded down....scary! Good job! Cool heads and brotherly love prevailed! God bless!
Thank you so much! Yeah things get hairy fast. I can’t imagine being alone there! I usually do ride alone too! Maps said everything was fine lol 😂 God Bless!
I don't think people realize how difficult it is to ride with camping gear on the bike. You guys look like you're running a pretty heavy set up as well. I'm sure you both came out of this situation 5X better riders than you were when you went in. Thank you for keeping the camera running and putting together a great edit. I think I would have been too frustrated to continue filming, and I'm sure my attitude would not have been as controlled as yours. Stay safe out there!
Thanks for that! Yes we grew a lot by the end of that. It definitely was tempting to put the camera down, but I knew I would regret it. Thanks so much for watching! Stay safe also!
That would be correct, definitely am not only a better rider since then, but also know to plan my routes a little better😅. Definitely don’t regret a thing tho. It was an adventure!
That was one heck of an adventure. You deserved that second campsite. Throughly enjoyed the video. Looks like something I'd get myself into. 😂 Its good to test yourself. Water filter and a saw sure would have come in handy.
Glad you enjoyed! Yeah we napped for a few hours when we got to the campsite! Yes I have recently added those to my kit, a better axe also. We were much better riders after that trip. Learned a lot. Including planning routes lol 😂
@advfortheking 🤣 trips like that are definitely learning experiences. I also carry a flare and lightweighttarp, so if I get caught up in weather, I can easily start a fire when everything is wet. You know how the weather can be in the high country. It's a lesson I've learned along the way.
@advfortheking I just commented on your other video. A good tent and a lightweight tarp are also a must. We've gotta cover our own butts out there brother
It may not have turned to be as easy & the kind of ‘fun time” you had planned for and I’m sure all the moving of trees and crappy road terrain wasn’t super enjoyable either. Nevertheless you & your brother made it and in retrospect you guys had a time together … and that’s what you both needed! God bless!
@@advfortheking I liked it. Your skills at producing quality videos has certainly improved! I’m not suggesting your older videos sucked, not at all. I watched them and enjoyed them … I’m simply saying that the time, thought & energy you are putting into the process is producing a good product! Good job!
@@advfortheking I understand the amount of thought & pre-planning that goes into trying to make a good YT biking video. Then comes the execution on the day, setting up the shots, etc. then the editing afterwards. It’s a lot of work just for a 15-20 minute video. But, Atleast for now … I enjoy it and I know you do too.
God Bless Y'ALL 🤘🤘🤘❤ You Didn't Panic 🤏 but You Two Guys are Real Troopers ❤ Two of My friends, My Dog and I went on an adventure on 3 Quads on Piru Creek Trail in Southern California. But, My quad was down and my friend blew his clutch trying to pull me in a hill Climb. Didn't get walked out until 2:40 am . 😂😂😂 fun Times 😂😂😂
You guys prooved that Jesus lives! Really! you guys made one mistake after another. You're lucky to be alive. Lucky to have your bikes not at the bottom of a cliff! Thank you Jesus!
Amen brother! Yes lol 😂 in Gods hands for sure! Learned a lot thru all that. Totally was high stakes motocamping. Thanks so much for watching! Gonna have some less death defying trips soon haha.
This is a remastered version of that. I fixed the color, the audio, and put more scenes that haven’t been seen before. I also put in 3d maps so you can see where we are at. Since I can’t ride till the rest of the snow melts I redid this one. If you want to see the extra stuff then give it a watch. Otherwise I hope to make some new videos soon.
You need to readjust your suspension for the speed you are going soften up the front way to stiff and bouncing around way too much and you should bring a air pump of some kind so you can reduce the air pressure in your tires when you are off-road it will make a major difference and you should set it to get the Cadillac ride nice and smooth and you won't be fatigued at the end of the day
It’s already way to plush on the suspension lol. Especially with 50+pounds of motocamping gear on it. Unfortunately the go-pro did not do that road justice lol. We also were fatigued since we were limited on time and drove all night to get there. Normal ride we would be fine. Ain’t nobody getting a Cadillac ride on that road haha 😂 I will pick up an air pump tho that’s a good idea 👍 thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed it!
I enjoyed the video but you can get a Cadillac ride start by reducing your tire air pressure till you can no longer feel rocks vibration while you are riding then slowly increase it when you start feeling the vibration and rocks reduce it by a pound or two to get it back into the sweet spot where you will not feel the ground as much having a skid place will help you slide over the logs easier you should also pick up one or both of these saws c o r o n a razor tooth 10 inch steel folding pruning saw or a Supreme glow PS 1102 / BRK pocket chainsaw look at the saw blade on the chainsaw do not buy one of these that looks like a chainsaw they don't work both these saws will cut wood extremely fast no more need for a hatchet and yes it is hard to ride loaded down stuff the pocket chainsaw is extremely small rolls up and fits in a can about the size of a chewing tobacco can just trying to make your ride better and you're camping experience more enjoyable
I also take a jump starter that has a USB plug for charging phones and running lights and fans and don't forget to take baby wipes camping they really come in handy
Thanks for watching, yeah, I actually had a drone in my tank bag that I brought with me but because I didn’t activate it when I had Internet, it wouldn’t turn on, since I just bought it the day before😭 Definitely would’ve used it to scout the road ahead if we had it!
You guys shouldn't be riding trails that exceed your capabilities. It's very obvious your beginer maybe novice riders which is where we all started, but, if you want to continue in this wonderful sport choose trails youll have fun on. Your riding skill level will increse. Or ride with someone that will teach you different techniques that willhelp you take corners, climb hills, ride over fallen trees...
