Kaimana beach hotel amenities: bicycle rent, SUP, bootcamp, workshop LEI making. It's near the aquarium and Honolulu zoo. Manoa falls to visit is a must. Barefoot cafe is around the corner and is very nice and affordable. Kaimana beach is also the only original white sand beach and sometimes there are monk seals resting. When you travel from airport to the hotel go for Robert's.
My husband and I stayed at the Kaimana Beach hotel this past March 2023 and we have to say the staff, and hotel were fantastic. But I have to correct you about one thing. Besides just lounging on the beach, which by the way is a beautiful white sandy beach, if you 'd like you can snorkel right off the beach. We purchased masks kits from the convenient store located right on the property and went snorkeling. The coral reef is teaming with fish swimming around the area. They also mention Hanauma Bay which cost for you to enter because it's a Nature Reserve. You have to make a reservation in advance before you are able to enter the Bay and it fills up fast so if you do decide to go make sure to plan ahead. Also, at Kaimana Beach you can also take surfing lessons, and rent SUP too if you're staying at the hotel. We are planning to go back. The food, the staff and the hotel were well worth it to us. And the Sunsets are to die for.
Many years ago I stayed at the Kaimana hotel. Corner room, recently updated. It was amazing. Great views, room was small, but well worth the cost at that time. We enjoyed having the distance between the major hotels/restaurants of Waikiki and the fact that we had a nice, long walk back to the hotel after dinners. As I remember the Hau Tree restaurant was very nice as well. If you can afford it, get a corner room as the lanai wraps around.
How far of a walk is this hotel to downtown Waikiki, like near the Hilton Hawaiian village? And can you walk the beach to get there or do you have to take main roads ?
Kaimana Beach ⛱ is great for relaxing in the sun and swimming 🏊♂️ then after getting some shade under the coconut trees in the park. Nice memories of life on Oahu in the 80's. I'd love to have seen a 360° view though. Otherwise, great content. Thanks and Aloha. 🏝💙🏂
Aloha! Part seven is a massive series obviously due to most of the hotels being in Waikiki, we are still in production of shooting these hotels, but working towards getting it out as soon as possible. Mahalo🌈🌸
very informative videos.. I appreciate the details you provide..does the city bus have a stop near these hotels? I know the walk is 15-20 min to waikiki... but I may not always want to walk each way. Thanks very much!
@@Livingtheglobe ...we thought we would stay at the Waikiki Banyan...( in planning stages still) but now we are thinking the Kaimana would be well suited for us...or for at least perhaps part of our trip.
