I am getting your free course, so far I have been enjoying it. Slides I know nothing about, really don't want one, to me they are just a weak point and another place to leak or fail so I found the slide section very informing.
My rig has the accuslide system. I recently had to adjust mine on two slideouts. It took me a few hours to remove the trim, get it all adjusted, and then install the trim again. It wasn't something I'd like to do on an annual basis, but it wasn't the end of the world. Although, I should point out I already had a finishing nailer, so I didn't have to buy tools.
but would love to see you review a Coachman 298RLS. I like the looks of them and it's on my "short list". would love your take on them. or just Coachman 5ths in general. more input = more better! love your videos.
Great video, love the clear concise i formation. I would like to know if you have any reccomendstions for a 5th wheel that would be better suited for use in cold climate areas potentially down to -30
So what about the gaping hole under the sideout that looks like a stress crack repair that has not been finished( and possible frame stress problem)? 3:52 Id be worried about that before giving a f for a cable slide system that I've never had a issue with ( its called maintenance) . But as you know the advrage rver doesn't know or cant do that and thas why they fail.
So given the issues with Schwintek, if a person religiously checked and adjusted a BAL system per their instructions… would you still not purchase BAL equipped rig? You don’t really hear much negative about Slimrack… is that because they are rarer or are they better? If they are better, why do they only seem to be on a few high end rigs?

Yup had to lemon law a trailer with cable slides ripped out of the wall worst design ever. Will NEVER own an RV with cable slides
