I'm always a sucker for sea-inspired music, especially when I'm actually looking out, as I listen, over a still seascape on a Hebridean morning in early September. Klami's imaginative, tastefully understated orchestration really breathes life into these "pictures". On a couple of occasions, I kept hearing Ravel's Bolero at the back of my mind. Probably just me and my weird mind! Marvellous upload......Thanks!
Question for you, my friend. I read recently that Nimbus records is still up,operating, and available product...do you know if that's true? I thought they got absorbed by universal or Warner.
@dmntuba I'm no expert, but my understanding is that they are still independent and are distributed by Naxos. I haven't bought anything of Nimbus for at least 20 years, though.

Bit of a similarity in Force 3 as well?
Yes, I understand what you say about Ravel, I heard Bolero too….
Max Merry -- At times it's almost an Homage to Bolero.....BRAVO!
God save the queen! Sorry for GB today.
God save the King!
No it's not just your weird mind! I definitely hear some strong Ravel influences! Especially towards the finale!
Ha ! these finnish composers are always stunning. A great discovery for me.
