damn, the aesthetics of these games were so lovingly put together for what they were, especially this one (shoutout to alien sky too though). bizarre but captivating enemy designs, cold mechanical backdrops and an awesome soundtrack with this somber and icy undertone to it that never really left me as a kid. it's not just nostalgia though, this game was addictive as hell and had some really satisfying gameplay. obliterating each boss had such a great feeling, there was a great sense of progression to it all

If only they (the developer) add some more spice and lore, the whole series would be more far interesting. Who knows that there was actually a connection and continuity between Atomiders, Alien Sky, and Astrobatics. A very interesting lore to dwell with.

In this game, this is luckily for me that the extra weapons weren't carried on the next mission. So, using them during last boss on each mission doesn't matter because the next mission aren't affected. There are an advantage and disadvantage about it. I think the disadvantage is that in hard missions (especially mission 13), you can't use the extra weapon at the beginning until you can get extra weapons from the enemies.

I have beaten this game, all the levels, but for lvl 15 at the final bossfight, my computer starts to lag and that helps me spam more rockets. Pretty hard game man, u are doing very well

Honestly, mission 13 is even harder than mission 14 and 15, because there are so many asteroids in mission 13

I disagree. First boss fights in eleventh, thirteenth and fourteenth missions and second boss fights in eighth, tenth, eleventh, fourteenth and fiftheenth mission are much harder.
