Dude great list man, I've seen everyone on here but The Hunt, City Of Men. Patch Adams, 12 years a slave, and Black Mass so I cant't say for them but everything else is truley peak cinema imo, I'll add those I haven't seen to my watchlist.
@@caiocesar7307 will do, and nice I'll check that one out too. In the near future I'm gonna upload a edit like this video of my top 50 films so if I remember I'll link the video when It's out.
I respect these kinds of videos way more than the pretentious ones that claim to be making an objective list. Everyone is different and it's cool to see the movies that impact people. Respect. I think the next frontier is foreign movies and classics. There are a ton of great movies out there to experience!
Making a top 50 list is really hard. Feel like there's tons of movies i'd have to put in would be so hard to decide. Inception would certainly be really high but one that is almost criminally low imo is shawshank redemption. That really is one i'd consider for first spot. Missing a bunch of movies on this list but it's a personal list anyways so never perfect for anyone but you. Godfather, schindlers list, the prestige, The dark knight trilogy at least the second one, lord of the rings, maybe even blood diamond and catch me if you can would get in for me but it's so hard to decide especially with the lower ones there's just so many great ones.
I click on this video saying to myself I might come across a top movie in this person's collections I've not watch, but unfortunately, I've watch every movie named here, and that was when took some moments to appreciate myself for watching hell lot of movies.
I love how these were all original movies and not movies based on books. Because that would destroy this ranking since it is about film as an artform. Also Catch Me if you Can by Steven Spielberg could have deserved a spot here
@@saeedalnagar2515 to your list I would add this movies from his video : Zodiac, Whiplash, The Social Network, The Matrix, Jaws, Fight Club, Slumdog Millionaire, Shawshank Redemption, No Country For Old Men, American History X, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Ford VS Ferrari, Prisoners, The Revenant, Seven, Django Unchained, Interstellar, Inception The Silence Of The Lambs (I need to rewatch it ) it can be added to the list 90% Nightcrawler and Apocalypto 50/50 Donnie Darko (i never watch it so i don't count it yet and I know it's a type of movies I need to watch it probably 3 times to make my mind about it )
For me Nolan's movies are everything! Interstellar and Inception deserves top 2 spots. I love Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption too!
Talking about Interstellar. In the movie Contact. Matthew McConaughey talks to Judy Foster about the ethical dilemma traveling beyond the speed of light
With your love for Christopher Nolan, you should add Memento to your list of movies to watch. Also, time to expand your horizons to many more movies before the 1990s.
Agreed....there are movies not on this list bcuz maybe they didn't even watch it and certain selections where the director or actor was in a better movie
I love Nolan, but I thought Memento was really boring. The way it was structured meant I didn't find myself paying attention and looking for answers. Like, it's original and creative, but it doesn't really work
Watched this video last night and realised I have similar taste in movies to you. It prompted me to watch ‘Prisoners’ for the first time tonight and wow I’m so glad I stumbled upon your list. Working through some of the others I haven’t seen next. Thank you 🙏🏻
both are very good movies directed by christopher nolan, with different genres. Personally Interstellar tops it for me but the casting and portrayal of the movie inception was a 10/10. if you're into sci-fi mind bending movies you'll definetly love it!
You should watch movies before 2000s then. They both nowhere near those films like Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Space Odyssey, Forrest Gump, Shawshank, Schindler's List, Se7en etc. These are all time bests bt don't watch through Nolan's perspective, Then you won't like those..
Man you are a fan of Denzel Washington. I too am a fan. Few movies are gem like uncut gems and Ford vs Ferrari. Some are so underrated and some are classical.
Apocalypto🔥🔥 I watched the movie for more than a hundred times!! Every year I would see someone watching it and I would want to watch it again and again.

watch coen brother films they are in my opinion some of the best works of film ever written or directed or some of George A Romero's older works and you can't forget about Akira Kurosawa with is wide painting like shots those are just some of my favorite directors/writers romero brings the horror and despair kurosawa brings the stunningly atmospheric landscapes and artistic flair while the coen brothers bring you into a film you forget what is going on while you get pulled into the world of the characters they never tell you what is going to happen next they let you see it making you prepare for every moment those are my recommendations for you all
Inception isnt that good, this film is really overrated. TDK was much better. And Memento is still Christopher Nolan's most genius film, much more clever than Inception.

Love your top 2, we share a favorite. Also love the inclusion of fury. Se7en is also in my top 10

Feel like there’s a few movies you may have not seen yet that aren’t on your list like goodfellas, casino, the godfather. But other then that really awesome list!
one of the best film lists i've found so far. actually all films are decent or even great.

Happy you put in I am Legend. I hear people talking about how it's one of Will Smith's bad movies, but the movie was written very well, and I finished watching it not only satisfied but impacted.
Also, it's very difficult to compile a top 50 favourite movie list. So well done
Good movie. But, far superior novel.
interstellar and inception at the top 1 and 2 is amazing to see. Both my fav movies ever!
yes! oh my gosh, i love so many of these movies! chef, american psycho, life of pi, slumdog millionaire, shawshank redemption, logan, INTERSTELLAR AND THE REVENANT! i love them so much!!
Yea but not Chef. Its crap.
Surprised to see there is no Titanic
The godfather, Goodfellas, Schindler's List, The Irishman, The Departed should have also on these list

Inception was a Masterpiece... deserve the spot... but Dark Knight series was also a Masterpiece along with the Prestige.
I respect these kinds of videos way more than the pretentious ones that claim to be making an objective list. Everyone is different and it's cool to see the movies that impact people. Respect.
I think the next frontier is foreign movies and classics. There are a ton of great movies out there to experience!
Absolutely amazing list the movies are worth a watch
I just realised how much of a legend Leornado DiCaprio is
INTERSTELLAR IS IN MY HEART FOREVER
love the list. I have watched like only half of them. but the half I watched was awesome so gotta try the rest
Love how high you put Book of Eli, film is so underrated
Can't go wrong with Einaudi. Keep watching. I think you'll find more to add.
Damn... we can shake hands! Mine would be very close to the list you made. Good taste :p
A big thanks for making this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Guys Who else was mesmerized by INTERSTELLAR??
That probably is my favorite as well

Naw that film took things a little too far. I couldn't sustain my disbelief after about 75% of the way through. It was solid, but not top 50 no way.
With that many Christopher Nolan movies on this list, I think you should Really watch "Prestige".
I think it's one of his best works.
Bought all in Blueray. Every Cent was spent well. Loved all and i am glad to have masterpieces that i can rewatch.
Hacksaw Ridge should be on that list.. That's a gem...
It's funny that The Truman Show is ending up so frequently on top movies lists on TH-cam
my fav movie
tis iconic
I click on this video saying to myself I might come across a top movie in this person's collections I've not watch, but unfortunately, I've watch every movie named here, and that was when took some moments to appreciate myself for watching hell lot of movies.
Inception is my fav too for many reasons!
Its so hard to find great moves when your a movie buff. Great mist of movies 👏 👏👏👏
I love how these were all original movies and not movies based on books. Because that would destroy this ranking since it is about film as an artform. Also Catch Me if you Can by Steven Spielberg could have deserved a spot here
fight club, no country for old men, Logan, arguably grand Budapest hotel
a film being based off a book doesn't degrade it as an art form. What do you even mean by film as an art form?

Saving Private Ryan could have been top 5 easily.
