Worked like a Charm on my 1964 Chevy II Nova! Thanks for the helpful video!

    Good tip. Thank You.
Wish I woulda seen this last week when I removed wiper arms on my elCamino.
Man, I was pulling and wiggling for half hour, pushing that little clip every which way.
    Finally, it just popped off.
My theory is God saw my struggle and had mercy on me before the really profane swearing started.

I'm ripping apart a 1970 Impala and this video worked awesome! Mine had a secondary support for the arm that you will need to pop the top of that clip but it all came off fine. One arm I had to use penatrating oil on.

Awesome video. I’ve been refurbishing my 1990 cobalt boat which some macho person installed a windshield wiper single motor single windshield wiper blade system which was not offered in this model boat (243). Long story short, the prevailing teacher advisor in my marine instruction said get a saws-all and cut the shaft in order to remove the entire assembly. This was my intention to make the boat stock again. Now I won’t have to do such a risky barbaric maneuver and can alternatively remove it in a civilized manner! Thank you for the video.

    Thank you so much.
Been dealing with taking the arms off of a 79 Phoenix and nothing seems to match up.
The fancy "tool" does not work, this did.

This works but there's an 8 dollar tool that does it with no chance of damage. I get it, it's a tool you use infrequently but 8 bucks and no chance of damage, and the tool will be there forever if I need it, or a buddy needs it.

There is a wiper arm removal tool under $10 made specifically for this.

Or you can carefully use a flat screwdriver, unless you have an old one you don't mind bending a bit.

A little shot of WD-40 using the Can's Flexible Nozzle a little while before starting the removal whether using a Wrench or the appropriate $4.00 Tool will help tremendously!
