- I brought WCW back for 1 year(and one year only) in WWE 2k23 Universe mode to see what would happen. So heres the story of WCW's comeback.

You are right. Definitely does. But Russo didn’t show up until the end of WCW though. Most of these PVPs were gone by then.

I'm sensing a lot of resentment for wcw. As a Hogan mark and an Nwo supporter for life it was my second favorite period of wrestling right behind the all American Hogan era.

Yeah, a lot of this didn't make sense, it was like a melting pot of eras, not meant to be real "wcw return" just random matches. Half of these wrestlers weren't even in WCW at the time, some were dead, and others were like little kids, under 5.

one thing in these games they never had is the ability to watch the match but choose the outcome for each match before the card starts to make it interesting. and by outcome i dont just mean who wins, i mean exactly how they win, who interferes, and what happens. also, they really need to change tag matches. they last too damn long cause the refs lets the illegal man come in and break up the pins/submissions a thousand times.
This ^ 100% I've always wanted good full visual booker (matching the options of the text based booker games out there) mode for WWE games.

I was really onboard for this idea until he started using people and gimmicks that had never been on wcw. So it was kinda halfassed

The only way Hogan would have wrestled Vader, is if it would've been a squash match in Hogan's favor. Which is unfortunate, because I think that could've been a great match! IF Hogan would've been more professional about it..

Most ppl that have WCW didn't live thru the era it was around and or just go with the wwe "wcw sucked" narrative. WCW was awesome. Way better than WWE has been in over 20 years.

When was this supposed to take place? 2001? cause Bron would only been like 4 or 5 then, and a lot of these wrestlers weren't in WCW then. Eddie, and Raven were in WWF, and Hawk was "retired" due to an injury, iirc.

Yes I’ve noticed that. When I set the referee as a WCW referee, it decides to set it randomly so I do think it’s a universe mode bug

I noticed the mat for uncensored was blurry and if you dont know already you can edit the arena and under mats reapply the image and reset to default and it will fix that. Also this was a great video

no problem mate, you may also have to re-stretch the image if it fills the whole mat. also if this still doesn't work check if there are multiple images on the mat because the last one on the layer will need to be changed first@@CrimTaker
