Incredible. Although I will say I think the announcers are EXTREMELY generous with the 'cork' terming. For me a cork should have the head below the majority of the body. Not just a slight head dip while it's still way above the skis. Luca Harrington's triple 21 was LEGIT. The rest not as much. In any case I was blown away by the skills on display.
Athletes at xgames are always crazy good - the judges though have obviously been influenced somehow for all those years. Their decisions are so random sometimes... In the end they nominate whoever is best for marketing purposes.
I don't agree with that. I think they're doing their best, don't always agree but I think the judging was pretty fair here tbh. Maybe Luca should've taken first place, felt like his true triple cork 21 tail grab was more impressive than a mostly flat tail grab 23. Still though, it was close. If they were going off marketing they'd just make all the Americans win because X Games is an American organization...
I don't like this finals format bs. Just give everyone 5 runs or like all 4 runs and best single trick wins (though I do like getting 2 scores and forcing 2 tricks as well, but I can live with 1 trick takes all)
Great scenes this year. I wish they would’ve included A Hall’s zero, Matej’s switch front, and T Pod’s trip cork 2340 attempt though.

J'ai allumé cette vidéo au travail et maintenant mon patron rit aussi. C'est l'heure de la promotion 🧡
"I don't care about the score" 😂😂
10:56 bro looks like he is falling out of a plane…..grabs his tail….and lands it……unreal

優勝するべきは間違いなくLUCAであった
