Funny enough, I’m working on a video on the model that came after this one. 😅 Interior is a bit different from this one, but overall it’s the same car. Just looks a bit different 🤭
Totally agree So much can go wrong especially ones of this age and mileage. Unless, many of the issues was already fixed by previous owner. A friend of mine got a diesel Jag, with the same engine. Had the exact same limp mode fault as our Range Rover. 🙄 Luckily, he paid for warranty on the car. Otherwise, a very painful repair bill.
Really? Was actually very cosy, always feels like I’m sat on a cosy leather couch when I’m in this Range Rover. 🤣 I’ve driven both the Range Rover and a 1st gen Cayenne on long journeys. The Range I would say is definitely more comfortable, Cayenne on the other hand I get a little bit uncomfortable on long journeys.
Cayenne! I preferred how the car handles. Though the interior has def not aged well in first gen Cayennes. Range Rover wins on interior, BUT! Cayenne def better on the handling and fun factor in my opinion.
Depends, wath engine you have. Gasoline engines are more reliable bmw engines are ok but the most reliable is the 2010 upwards jag engine 5.0. Just remember to change the the pulleys along with the timing belt for precaution you see the force of that engine put stress on the pulleys. And changing oil and filters every 6 months like in all cars is a must for a well maintained engine. TDV6 can be reliable but requires those items listed below :custom crankshaft AS500 Steel or titanium one. To countermeasure the ford/ Peugeot flaw in design; LR reinforced oil pump from late 2009 ; 19 mm rotor for LR oil pump available on Russian market ; fiting and oil pressure gauge inside the cabin do not follow late Discovery 4 and RR manual regarding procedures instead follow the oil warnings procedures of discovery 3 manual and keep those parameters to have an eye on the oil pressure gauge. Follow those modifications and you won’t have engine problems at all. You see a custom crankshaft is expensive but you only spend once in your life, as TDV6 have a flaw in oil distribution lines inside the block and have tremendous torque that surpassed all the competitors for over 11 years.
Looks brand new on the inside

Thanks for the video. I was actually considering this car but I don't have enuf money to spend if it goes faulty.
It's a rich man's car 🚗

How’s the ride, because you seem to jump a lot in this video?

We had the 3.2L VR6 then, and that was the entry model back then. Was already enough fun 🥰
Are they a money pit?
